Oprah's reputation as a serious and honourable interviewer has crashed and burned now. She was friends with Harvey Weinstein so this interview was a similar lack of good judgement in my opinion.
Yes, indeed, her reputation has crashed and burned, in the limited world of your imagination @costacoughee.
Just not in the real world, where she is still valued and appreciated. Just this week, she's been hanging out with VP Kamala Harris. Oprah is an American icon, a global inspiration, and an example to black girls and women everywhere of what you can achieve with hard work and ambition.
Her reputation is rock solid, in part because it was not built on one interview, but on a lifetime of work. I am willing bet you have not followed her career over the years, or watched one interview she did, beyond the one with Harry and Meghan.
As for the Harvey Weinstein slur: He has 81 Oscar wins to his name, including acting Oscars for:
Daniel Day Lewis
Michael Caine
Nicole Kidman
Brenda Fricker
Catherine Zeta Jones
Holly Hunter
Judi Dench
etc etc
Are you accusing all these people, including Camilla's pal Judi Dench , of bad judgement too, because they worked with or were friends with him before his harassment and sexual exploitation of women came to light?
Do you apply the same standards to Charles, with respect to his friendship with Jimmy Saville? Or even Andrew, who continued is association with Epstein AFTER he was indicted?
Or is it only Oprah you have in your sights, because she interviewed two people you clearly do not like?
