e.g. a medical team here might suggest a minimal intervention such as anti-depressants, and in the US might agree to a patient's suggestion of hospitalisation. To someone from the US that might seem like trivialising their symptoms. From the point of a UK doctor it might be the approved clinical intervention as an initial response. Especially where there is a lot of practical support from servants.

polkadotdalmation · 09/06/2023 21:23

@Iwantcakeeveryday Why are you twisting what mixedrecycling is saying? It seems quite a wilful attempt to derail the thread by misquoting people in the hope someone get angry enough to confront you.

Anyway...Harry has done a great job after walking away from his family with the things he has said. Such a great job that he now is as unpopular a prince Andrew. So he's scraping along at the bottom of the barrel with his wife.

Iwantcakeeveryday · 09/06/2023 19:52

well his family would wouldn't they? That's not unusual when a family is unhealthy and as damaging as his family is, of course they'd see therapy as a threat.

They’re all in therapy - they mean bad therapists, not decent ones

Roussette · 09/06/2023 21:27

Such a great job that he now is as unpopular a prince Andrew

Is there as source for that or is it just an opinion?

I do doubt it

polkadotdalmation · 09/06/2023 21:28

@Peverellshire So a 38 year old woman, a professed feminist with a husband, a mother who was staying with them, and friends she could talk to, couldn't arrange this with them? Everyone was gagged and bound? The Priory isn't geared up to pregnant women but her obstetrician could have arranged inpatient therapy for her. MH problems in pregnancy are well understood and catered for even in the NHS. She didn't say anything to her obstetrician. This story sounds like the passport confiscation one where she flew half a dozen trips to foreign countries without one. Must be royalty doesn't need a passport?

Well, you pour scorn on any polls that are posted, so I suspect this is a rhetorical question...

You ask for proof so you can attack it, it's waste of time

American polls. Been a fact for months.

I am perfectly at liberty to challenge a statement that I feel is wrong.

What polls? I haven't posted about any that I can remember lately

polkadotdalmation · 09/06/2023 21:31

@mixedrecycling Was such a pleasant thread, but now all the derailing starts. Just can't help themselves can they?

What pollsters do you accept as valid?

So if any of them do a poll about the RF we can quote them...

So anyone that disagrees or asks a question is 'derailing'

If TG are being broken, report.

You only want people here who agree with you. No one can ask anything or disagree which is not how a discussion forum works

Posters from this thread are prolific on the other one and no one has accused anyone of derailing.

Apparently, she wanted a residential stint & this wasn’t allowed / publicity issues/security etc. SO as she sees it, she received NO support & wasn’t helped.

I have no idea. But when someone says Harry is more unpopular than Andrew I am allowed to ask what source

mixedrecycling · 09/06/2023 21:38

Exactly. In the UK residential care is a last resort, lots of support is offered to avoid it. That doesn't mean there is no support, on the contrary, especially when unlimited private care is available

polkadotdalmation · 09/06/2023 21:38

@Tatslookawful Yes, we have her word for it. Even though it makes no sense. Given she is a proven liar, I prefer common sense.

‘Posters from this thread are prolific on the other one and no one has accused anyone of derailing.’

😭😂

mixedrecycling · 09/06/2023 21:39

Do you accept, for example, yougov's stats? (in general, no idea what they say about Harry but they have been attacked on MN by his supporters)

OMG! the 'frothing' - to use a MN word - about the 'wrong sort' posting on 'their' thread! And derailing!

polkadotdalmation · 09/06/2023 21:43

Polls in America and the UK are not favourable. They'll improve if the pair just shut up. Anyway, I refuse to give Meghan any further time, as I didn't bring her up.

Harry - court case. Hope he wins something, even if it's just on other people's evidence. Hope he takes his settlement and goes away. Hope he uses it for legitimate therapy. Hope he leans to enjoy his wife and family.

Oh no! Just remembered the other cases.

MayQueeen · 09/06/2023 21:44

yeah it’s not nice being made to feel like the ‘wrong sort’ and unwelcome on a thread 🥹

Roussette · 09/06/2023 21:44

Depends on the size of the sampling
Sometimes it's very small

Stalkedbyzombies · 09/06/2023 21:44

It's funny how they all came over from the other one as a group with the same old derailment tactics. I'm not even sure what the point is? What's wrong with having a critical thread and a separate fan thread? It was working beautifully.

Clear attempts here with the deliberate twisting of what people say.
