What next for the Sussexes?

I thought yesterday couldn't have gone better, all things considered; there was the least amount of drama or negative coverage possible regarding the Sussexes.

I'd like to hope that this marks a fresh start. Harry's got all the recriminations off his chest. The Royal Family have maintained a dignified silence and hopefully the future is rosy. The Sussexes can have the life they want in the US, with a small presence in family events back here when appropriate. (I wouldn't be surprised however if Megan never makes it back on UK soil).

I'm surprised Dior are bragging about that suit. It was creased and too big for him!

Creased because he presumably brought it from the US and doesn't know how to use an iron.

Wise move as the environmental lecturing while they both used private jets was ill-judged.

I think it's sad that he's burned bridges with his family but the Coronation was well-handled. Like others I hope he can find some fulfilment in his life in the US. Personally I think he'd be happier if they sold they huge California place to give them financial security. He could buy a ranch or a vineyard or something that gives him the opportunity for money-making ventures (assuming he could pay for the expertise to run it).

I haven't read Spare and don't intend to read his other books. I am not an ardent royalist but anyone who has led a relatively privileged life as Harry has and then throws his family under the bus to make money does not merit my hard earned money or time.

He turned his back on the UK so can stay in the US and do what he wants as he says that is the plan. Why keep rehashing his grudges if not to make money. He got millions from KC and his mums estate so he doesn't need more.

I think it is a shame he doesn't get on with his brother now and I think Princess Diana would be very sad to see the rift between her two sons. He is isolated from his father too and his children won't get to know their cousins, aunt and uncle or grandfather.

I think we have got to the stage, that anyone (be it an individual or a gossip site) can make up absolutely anything about Kate and William, and some will believe it.

It's not 'directed' at anyone. It's a general comment about the many made-up rumors a few posters have tried to spread on MN about Kate and William.

They can all allege all they like fact is BA (and some who work for BA) have confirmed he flew with them.

He was photographed by at least one pap at around 1400 hours Sat PM arriving at the entrance to the Windsor Suite at T5 (that’s the very very expensive, exclusive high end lounge hidden away under the Terminal)…being there at that time makes him ideally placed to travel on the BA 269 which left LHR for LAX at about 1545.

Business jets don’t operate from T5 he won’t have snuck on a business jet from that lounge.

Meghan didn't stay at home. She was on a hike where there just happened to be a photographer.

I will address this. ONCE just ONCE someone talked about the dog bowl incident and the only time I have said anything was for me to say perhaps that affair had happened and Harry was angry. One comment once. That was it. I don't slag the couple off day in day out.

At no other time have I amplified this.

Quite. It's fairly well known that they use Backgrid when they want staged pap photos (as the hiking photos were credited to).

The RF made sure to make H&M's life hell, by leaking all sorts of lies and narratives about them. They looked happy and good at what they were doing.

i can’t remember the last time MM did anything press worthy and yet they find things to write about her every single day. I listened to a podcast recently and the paparazzi said that the most valuable photos are of Harry & Meghan (and Harry Styles) so as much as people allegedly want them to disappear the appetite for them is very much there.
