What next for the Sussexes?

I thought yesterday couldn't have gone better, all things considered; there was the least amount of drama or negative coverage possible regarding the Sussexes.

I'd like to hope that this marks a fresh start. Harry's got all the recriminations off his chest. The Royal Family have maintained a dignified silence and hopefully the future is rosy. The Sussexes can have the life they want in the US, with a small presence in family events back here when appropriate. (I wouldn't be surprised however if Megan never makes it back on UK soil).

No one will believe it, but I was quite the Royalist at one point. 😂 But slowly and surely, the scales fell from my eyes. It took probably a decade for my view to change and many incidents changed my opinion

When I used to post on the H&M threads right when they met, engaged, married, I was sometimes a lone voice on there. Maybe 1 or 2 occasionally if that.

This wasn’t pleasant either though. I’ve yet to see a sentence with nauseating in it being used in a positive way. Just because it isn’t quite as acidic as some other posts, don’t kid on that it isn’t as bad of a thing to say. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There were a lot of posters who found the beach video thing really cringey, I'm not the only one, they said so on MN! but the only one who gets picked up on saying so

Just because some are criticising Harry, it doesn't necessarily mean that there has to be an insult to another royal/royals to address the balance. Or deflect or distract.

As for the Oprah mention? You might not actually say something but like the Oprah interview, it is very much how it is coming across. I don’t think I’m the only one either.

Fine to defend Harry. Why wouldn’t you - as a person with unscaly eyes (gosh thanks for that)- but there is no requirement to be snidey about others to do that.

Please. Read the whole post that I did about manipulation and PR and the press and the RF. I was replying to a very long post by another poster. You pull one tiny bit out of that long post earlier on today - out of context - to berate me with.

What do you mean by repeating it. That was the only time I said it. You are the one repeating it, and amplifying it.

I disagree. I don't ever go and look back on your posts and see what you've written and then come on and bandy it about. I could have done today, but really that is not my style. I don't do it with anyone.

However, I get this all the time. I have had MNers quote stuff I said literally years ago. I comment on what I see at the time. I don't advance search stuff and gleefully say... you said this or that in 2018. So you own that and stop the disingenuous crap. Thanks

Believe it or not, there was a time when I thought your posts were decent and measured and they made me think. Adding something nippy into a reasonable post just serves to weaken it for me. Again just my opinion.

Wow, the passive aggressive tones of the harry and meghan supporters are ramping up somewhat. I totally agree with the poster who said they feel like they are walking on eggshells on the RF threads. Sign of abusive behaviour in my experience.

I’m not terribly inclined to go back and look at whatever others wrote in nineteen oatcake or whatever. I don’t have the time or inclination to do so.

Why pull others out on for previously saying similar to what you chose to type today anyway? That is all I commented on. So why suggest I go back and look at historic posts? I’m sure if I had the time to look and quote the others who said similar, they’d wonder why I was raking over their old posts. You don’t like it. I don’t when it has been done to me and I daresay they wouldn’t like it either.
