The royal family

Harry may be in trouble with his Visa application!

polkadotdalmation · 03/05/2023 10:48

So the American Heritage foundation has put in an appeal for their freedom of information application, to see Harry's original visa application, which has incidentally 'got lost'!

They feel that Harry has negated his right to privacy regarding this document because he has already put his drug use into the public domain.

The questions on the visa applications are about drug use or using substances you know to be prohibited, in your past or currently when the application was made.

Nothing to do with the fact cannabis is not prohibited in California currently and his current drug use.

Case I believe, is being brought against the department of homeland security, and the basis for the Heritage foundation is were equality laws followed or was Harry given preferential treatment because of his title. Interesting. Maybe Harry learns to keep his private drug use, private.

@polkadotdalmation No. I'm saying he is being singled out unfairly. What about my question: if harry's file is made public then shouldn't ALL files be made public too? After all he's a private citizen? And all citizens should be treated the same, right...?

He has exploded his own right to privacy where his drug taking is concerned by talking about it extensively. Therefore what privacy when he's already breached his own?

As I said, you're prepared to condone a man using royal privilege and white privilege to allegedly lie on immigration documentation, while a poor Mexican wanting to work more than one hour a week, with an admission of smoking a few joints as a teenager, would undoubtedly be denied.

Your hypocrisy and Harry's hypocrisy are laughable.

I'll celebrate birthdays, weddings, hen nights, Burns Night, NYE, Christmas, St Patricks, the last jubillee Hard to think of many things i won't celebrate but not Charles coronation. I don't like him.

I'd sort of picked up on that. 😁 But at least the rainforest tribes love him so he's doing something right.

YouJustDoYou · 04/05/2023 21:49

He's a typical rich arrogant hypocrite who gets one rule for him and another for everyone else. Hope they get him on this.

BlueKaftan · 04/05/2023 21:51

So, why do you care? So, it won’t happen. So, he will attend his father’s Coronation. So, stop reading the gutter press.

What public behaviour have you witnessed that makes you think she probably doesn't love her husband and is self absorbed

To indicate she doesn't love him - she targeted him from the get-go for who he was. Probably thought he was richer than he was because of his family. He's shown himself to be stupid, whiny, self-pitying. Utterly out of his depth!

Her self-absorption! Surely blindingly obvious? Look at her life story, "friendships" etc.
If you can't, or don't want to see it, I can't help you any more

Meghan has many friends that she has since college - they were present at her wedding and continue to be her friends now. There are some who are god parents to her children, some who are involved in Archewell and some who are just her friends. Many allude to them in the much maligned 5 friends letter. I’m not sure I understand the dissonance there.

With regards to targeting Harry - I’m sure there is nothing anyone could say that would dissuade you from that so I guess I’ll leave that with you. (Hapless Harry drawn in by the jezebel woman who swiftly put him under a spell he was powerless to resist)

polkadotdalmation · 04/05/2023 21:53

Personally @skullbabe I don't think the request will get very far because of Harry's wealth, royal privilege and white privilege. He's not a poor Mexican immigrant who admits to smoking a few joints in his youth.

So not only did the RF cover up for Harry but the American government are doing the same,

I never expected anything much to come of it, but it's nice to see a few Americans are prepared to stand up to inequalities like this and hold their own government to account. If it makes Harry think twice before sharing things most people would be reticent about, then it's win win.

@polkadotdalmation I'm saying this scrutiny is vindictive, on only one person. What about all the other famous, rich, white people who are known to have taken drugs openly, brag about it even, like British rock stars, who come and go from the UK to US all the time? No one has ever asked what have they put on their visa applications. I bet it's never ever crossed anyone's minds!

And btw, it's not "deflecting" to ask this question.

Only Harry. Why? Because he married a black woman, dared to leave the royal family, and broke open the invisible contract. That's why.

I agree the targeting is vindictive based on the HF remit however they do actually have a point. Discretionary policies need oversight and need to be applied equitably.

Roussette · 04/05/2023 21:57

So not only did the RF cover up for Harry but the American government are doing the same,

Are you serious? Do you want to write to the CIA, FBI or maybe Biden to tell them off. This is just ridiculous.

They have rules and laws and it is a private visa and being challenged by some right wing nutjobs.

I hear London is looking really fine and the partying is already starting. The king got crowned this afternoon by the chief of the rainforest tribes in thanks and recognition for all he's done regarding the preservation of their environment.

Isn't that lovely?

Awesome

skullbabe · 04/05/2023 21:59

michaelmacrae · 04/05/2023 20:54

The rock stars above the law too then, why is that allowed then?

They should be but this is what the HF are arguing for using Harry.

Having read the American Heritage website, I'm not sure standing up for Equality is one of their main aims. They don't want Critical Race theory taught iin schools.

Yes they do have a valid point and it's why I thought from the get go it would be interesting to see what direction this takes. Harry isn't going to be deported and I think most people realise that, however, by over sharing in the way he has he has pretty much offered himself up on a silver platter to the HF and they are running with it.

Ahhh they're from the Ron deSantis school of thinking then. That's what he's made law in Florida, already it changes how they teach there. Dreadful

Visa applications are private. For everyone. Irregardless of him talking about his drug taking.

allegedly lie

"Allegedly lie" - exactly. ie malicious speculation. Throw some mud and see where it sticks. Get a ball rolling and enough people will punch in. There's no proof of anything. But people like the HF and yourself have hung, drawn and quartered him already.

Pretending to care about a poor Mexican immigrant when you are siding with an extremist far right hate group is laughable. You're not fooling anyone. I'd be ashamed if I was you.

One of the Koch brothers is their biggest donor. Where they Koch brothers go, self interest surely follows.

We have ‘conservative think tanks’ in my country, like the HF - too. As far as I can see they aren’t about making things better, just better for ultra right conservatives.

Not worth giving any time to at all then.

I guess the king would know how much Charles had done in saving the deforestation of the rain forest and preserving the biodiversity. You'd think that British people would be pleased that their head of state was thought of highly in other areas of the world. But, apparently not.

So back to Harry's drinking and drugs and frozen todger, while his father was getting on with serious business. 🙄

That's YOURtake on her. Very unpleasant.

No love involved. Shetargetedhim.

Do you know her? How do you know she is self absorbed, it's just what the DM and Express has fed you with the likes of 46 hate articles in one 24 hour period.
Sad.

And that's your take on me. Fine.

As I've already said, of course I don't know her. If we can only comment on those we know personally discussions would not get far.
Do you really think she would have looked twice at him if he'd been an ordinary chap on an average salary?

I may be very unpleasant but I don't read tabloids

Have a look at wiki under ‘Guests at the Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.’

It details who of the guest are her friends.

It’s shocking! She has friends!

I see @Morestrangerthings has beat me to it - there is a link on Wikipedia listing all of her non famous friends who attended her wedding. On the move so no real time to get last names for you but two of her longtime friends Lindsay and Genvieve were at Archie’s christening and although not named - one of them will be the mystery 3rd godparent.
