@Pixiedust1234
I'm aware it was 'reported'

My point was who believes the rubbish the Mail feeds them ?

wordler · 17/04/2023 13:34

^Jobson

Novella4 · 17/04/2023 13:35

I meant that the fact that Kate was staying at home was reported

Not my post lol

Is there nothing that they won't blame Meghan for? Zara Phillips wasn't there but Kate should've been?

I was coming in to say exactly this!

it’s mad that either Kate or Meghan would be there over the queens other grandchildren.

people seem to forget William and Harry are only two of eight grandchildren!!!

megletthesecond · 17/04/2023 13:37

Their kids had started school, I suspect that was her priority. A semi conscious dying person isn't a get together, the Queen had two of her children with her.
I didn't get to spend my dad's last hours with him as I had to deal with my kids and an urgent medical appointment.

caringcarer · 17/04/2023 13:39

Total rubbish story.

FraiseRoyale · 17/04/2023 13:41

This has got to be one of the most bizarre RF stories out there these days. Is Mike Tindall feeling resentment? That would be roughly equivalent.

Whaeanui · 17/04/2023 13:41

@RYGO So you haven’t come back to your own thread? What’s your intention in sharing gossip like this from the tabloids? Do you believe this?

Anonymouseposter · 17/04/2023 13:52

It's hard to believe that anyone is gullible enough to believe all this rubbish. I don't believe most of what is written about what any member of the royal family thinks unless I hear them say it.

kirinm · 17/04/2023 13:53

It is ridiculous but it doesn't stop multiple outlets printing it.

Violetcrush · 17/04/2023 13:54

What a load of old toilet… do you believe this OP?

Daffodilsandtuplips · 17/04/2023 14:04

Who are theses so called Royal watchers/ experts . Journo’s stirring the pot to dredge up the sludge from the bottom.

Blossomtoes · 17/04/2023 14:10

I do wish these Royal “experts” would just stf up and stop stirring the bloody pot. I bet the Royal family does too.

InterstellarDrifter · 17/04/2023 14:10

Can't wait to see all this in The Crown. It'll be more like Eastenders by then.

stillavid · 17/04/2023 14:11

Hmm another story which on first read seems to be pro-Kate but really isn't at all.

Guess the palace are really trying to deflect attention away from how there isn't enough interest in Charles and Camilla.

Coffeeandbourbons · 17/04/2023 14:13

I thought this was about Katie Price and her daughter 🤦🏼‍♀️

StickyWickets · 17/04/2023 14:15

I think its more likely the anti-monarchy lot see Kate as the target now give she's more popular, least controversial and represents the future of the monarchy.

I see plenty more attacks on her coming in the near future...

jay55 · 17/04/2023 14:15

Kate really seems to be the current scapegoat.
It's quite fascinating how the press cycles through which woman to vilify.

How? When this is Jobson and the DM, both very pro Monarchy

You can't blame anti monarchy for this

Read that article. It's not Kate, it's Charles. He didn't want Meghan there and he used Kate to do it.

Why should Meghan have been there? None of the wives/husbands of the grandchildren were there, what makes her so different? The Cambridge children were only a couple of days into a new school and needed their mother there to break the news to them and to comfort them. Imagine if she'd left it to the Nanny, the hoards would have been apoplectic.

oakleaffy · 17/04/2023 14:22

Baabaa75 · 17/04/2023 13:09

Oh please, I'm sure Kate was sad, everyone was, but at the end of the day how many of us feel the need for private time with your DPs granny before her death 🤔

Exactly!
Had the Queen really wanted to see Catherine she would have asked.

Most dying people only want their really close family there.

I can’t see why Meghan would have wanted togo anyway, after such allegations against the Royal Family. ( Apart from Netflix material)

Ah yes, The Crown, history for the senseless, we all know how accurate it is!

Ffs. More speculative crap

at last we agree lol

AskMeMore · 17/04/2023 14:25

luckylavender · 17/04/2023 13:09

It's all bunkum though isn't it? William & Harry were the only grandchildren there. All the others missed out. So little to do with Kate & Meghan really.

Exactly. Other actual grandchildren were not there. Kate is the wife of her grandson.
This is more deflection from Camilla and the Coronation. Its all trying to get the Meghan and Kate hate from both sides going. And it is obviously bullshit.

Enko · 17/04/2023 14:28

The article also claims Harry scrambled to get there.

Anyone who have read MN knows in-laws are often tricky why would it be different for this family.

To me I find it interesting how we straight away get the Meghan defenders. If Charles reallt did ask this then really isn't it ok of Katherine to feel some resentment? As long as she is polite and doesn't you know write a book or say gives an Interview about it?

Imo though the article is pretty fake and non news.
Two sister in laws don't care much for each other.. never heard that before.

Father in law has Daughter in law he gets on better with .. never heard that before.
