Harry and Meghan still haven't replied to the invitation to the coronation even though the RSPV deadline has passed. If it's true I think it's a bit rude. They know the preparation that goes into these events. It must be a headache for the planners not to know if they are coming or not. Apparently Arche and Lilibet aren't invited to the actual ceremony as they are deemed to be too young. My bet is they will all come to the UK for the coronation but who knows. Not heard if Andrew is coming or not. And Fergie. Will she be there. Maybe behind a pillar.

The BBC were told they could keep about twenty odd minutes of the footage and had to submit what they wanted to keep to the palace for approval. They were told that certain scenes could not be kept.

Yes it was available unedited for a month but can not be shown again by the BBC. The Palace will only allow extracts from the approved 20 odd minutes footage.

What's all this 'haterz' business - It's weird? Pretty much everyone I know rolls their eyes when Harry and Meghan are mentioned: they are very unpopular.

Yet they seem to have a small cheers quad on MN, about 5 or 6 posters who post prolifically on absolutely every thread, it's very strange and I'm clearly not the only one who's noticed it

God alone knows. I say what I believe, based on what comes out of their own mouths, not the daily Mail which I don't read, and I dislike the pair of liars for simply that reason. I believe families should love each other, not slander and libel them, when you know they can't answer back. If they fall out then it's usually 2 sided, so leave with dignity and go NC, not launch some shitty PR war and paint yourself a victim in your mansion. The plain hypocrisy is mind blowing. I don't feel hate for people I don't know. I feel contempt for how they portray themselves in the media.

If some people are seeing MM purely through the prism of race, perhaps it's not surprising that they (mistakenly, IMO) assume that any criticism is racially motivated?

The fact is people do see MM purely through the ‘prism of race’, the racists. That’s the thing. They see her race every time they look at her and it is actually really scary knowing that as a person of colour. POC support her because they know what it’s like. They can understand in a way many white people can’t. None of that means we only see her colour. That’s how racists behave.

I can understand POC supporting other POC but MM is a divisive figure (by virtue of her behaviour), so presumably some POC probably have mixed feelings about her

Nobody said every single person of colour feels exactly the same way! But most understand the situation she was in and certainly none would deny press and online racism directed at her. Also understanding racism is different from other press intrusions and harassment.

How do you know that though. How do you actually know that people only see her through the prism of her colour? Surely that’s an assumption on your part coloured by your own bias.
