Harry and Meghan still not replied to Coronation Invitation

Harry and Meghan still haven't replied to the invitation to the coronation even though the RSPV deadline has passed. If it's true I think it's a bit rude. They know the preparation that goes into these events. It must be a headache for the planners not to know if they are coming or not.

Apparently Arche and Lilibet aren't invited to the actual ceremony as they are deemed to be too young. My bet is they will all come to the UK for the coronation but who knows. Not heard if Andrew is coming or not. And Fergie. Will she be there. Maybe behind a pillar.

Just to re-wind a bit... WTF is the obsession these days with kids' birthdays?
We have a number of children in school who just expect to take the day off on their birthday as if it is some kind of major event.
The idea that the King's Coronation (ffs!) should be arranged around a 4 year-old who wouldn't know the date if it came up and shook hands, is beyond laughable.

One CT wrote an essay about M&H at 3am. Lots of people will think it's very sad state to find yourself in but M&H CTs will probably find it very very normal.

I know posters like to support their team at whatever cost rather than ignore but this is a stretch. Even the OP mentioned insomnia at 3am!

I suspect that the apparent delay (to an outsider) is because there are intense negotiations going on behind the scenes.
My guess would be that they want to come (and therefore haven't officially declined) but on their terms and THAT is the sticking point.

I haven't seen a Harry and Meghan thread for a while. Love the comments about them taking the limelight- it's the Harry and Meghan haters that keep them firmly in the limelight.

I genuinely think that some posters have lost all sense of reality- and have an alternate reality in their heads where they make up scenarios (maybe maladaptive daydreaming). When they state their made up shit as fact on the internet it's because they're not sure what's made up and what's reality anymore.

I'd be extremely embarrassed and ashamed if I was them and planning to attend the coronation for a Father and Stepmother I've repeatedly slated to the press, whilst at the same time whining about my own trauma at the hands of the same press. Hypocrites, stay home!

@Whaeanui linked an article the other day about a sad lady who took her life after trolling the McCann's.

She called herself a 'Private Investigator'.

I cannot for the life of me imagine going on a daily basis to post 20 hate filled posts on any one person or couple. Gatecrashing a big celeb fan sites, say like Ed Sheeran/ Harry Styles/ Taylor Swift/ Beyonce etc. to harp on about their 'hypocrisy'. - Bad examples on my part, cause I love all those artists, mind you.

When would I have any time to direct my hateful energy to Trump/Wayne Couzens/ Carrick etc. if I spent so much time on a couple who do charities. 😅

Not really. Not in this case. I reported the post that was attacking me that I woke up to this morning. It was completely unnecessary, unfair and unwarranted.

It has now been deleted. It was a PBP from last year. I am not the slightest bit surprised about that. The RF threads have too many NCers and PBP's coming on here to attack those with a different viewpoint.

I think purpledalmatian is possibly referencing that in a typical H&M thread there will be about one hundred different individual posters who say negative things about the couple and post one time or a few times - and then maybe three posters who each post one hundred times or more in their "defence". When the highest volume posters accuse low volume posters of being obsessed this makes zero sense.

That's funny! So you're obsessed if you don't really dislike someone and post saying so. But if you do dislike them and post endlessly, you are not obsessed?! Personally I would rather be known for posting a lot defending someone,. than the opposite which is disliking someone so much, you can't stop posting shit about them!

I've said it before but it really is worth saying (to my mind anyway!)... there are a couple of famous people I can't abide. Really I can't. Won't name them.

I sometimes see threads about them. I see media stuff about them. I make sure, I never ever go on a thread about them. Ever. I avoid it. I make sure I never ever read about them, nor click on an article about them. I just will not give them headspace.
Why can't the anti's do that?

I think that's pretty obvious. The posters who do this are extremely touchy about it being mentioned.

Not the slightest bit touchy! Maybe when MN insist that people have a post limit per day, I will listen. But until then, don't care!

The threads have just kicked off again because of the Coronation. I expect it will all die down after May and we the obsessed can find something else to obsess about.

As I've posted only 6 times on this thread (now 7) I don't think that is excessive on a thread of 260 odd posts so I'm with you on that 😀.
