Then she embarked on The Worldwide Privacy Tour

I don't even know what this is. Did they go to different countries on a Tour, or what? I genuinely have no idea what it means apart from snarky talk on MN.

p.s. for those that don't understand privacy...

If i burst into your home by kicking the door down. That's invading your privacy.

If you decide you want me to come round, invite me, open the door and welcome me. That isn't.

StormzyinaTCup · 31/03/2023 09:21

I would imagine threads and posts on Andrew are about 10% of what has been posted about Meghan

I have posted on threads about Andrew but tbh they get boring quite quickly because nearly everyone is of the same opinion. They end up being just a lot of head nodding in agreement.

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 09:21

@Roussette what they really mean is, they told their own story on their own terms and the British royal family, press and public were exposed for what they are. Nobody minded when other people wrote books on Harry’s life. But he must never do that himself of course.

Howsimplywonderful · 31/03/2023 09:23

Seeing as a small handful of pro Meghan posters contribute probably a third of all posts on the royal threads perhaps they should ask themselves why the Andrew threads aren’t filling up as quickly as tney would like

Howsimplywonderful · 31/03/2023 09:24

@Whaeanui

unfortunately their story on their terms wasn’t true

Thats the point of the article

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 09:26

How would you know? Because some gossip writer tells you? I absolutely believe them. I don’t really care about minor details. The thrust of the argument is obviously true. His mother said the same things.

I don't understand what you mean.

Long may this phase continue.

This is the kind of misogyny I’m talking about. When she behaves the way I want her to, I’ll not hate on her. It’s about control. She married into a family the public are used to being able to control with bad press if they don’t perform.

Give over.
It’s nothing to do with her sex. I don’t like the fact they both lied and sold stories after playing the victim of other people selling stories.
She seems to not be doing this anymore. Which makes me warm to her a little again.
Harry is still out there doing the same old performance. I still dislike him.

Whats your point?
I should continue to dislike her even though she’s no longer acting in ways I dislike anymore?
Or that, because she’s a woman, I should only have positive opinions of her regardless?

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 09:31

It’s so heavy, watching people delight in their distress. Creating stories in their heads. Theories of how he’s being controlled and abused by Meghan.

Yet another story where a famous woman tries to speak the truth and is recast as a sociopathic gold digger actress.

Familiar?

its interesting no-one is disagreeing with the article - just people are mean for pointing out the lies

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 09:33

They are allowed to talk about their life. If you don’t complain about all the billions of others doing so online right now with their own blogs, instagrams, facebooks, not to mention those interesting enough ti write their own autobiographies, you really shouldn’t be faulting these two. Especially since so much was being written about them by others. Everybody, literally everybody, talks about their own life.

Howsimplywonderful · 31/03/2023 09:34

@Whaeanui

She didn’t speak the truth, that’s the whole point

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 09:37

@Howsimplywonderful I don’t typically click on such rubbish. But let’s take one thing from it to illustrate my point:

Meghan’s claims about putting herself through Northwestern University were moving and inspiring. But Grigoriadis and Gold said Meghan was clearly trying to place herself in a seemingly relatable rags-to-riches “Cinderella story,” laced with strong-independent-woman self-sufficiency.
Grigoriadis wrote that Meghan might not have been telling the truth — at least according to her estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, who immediately took to social media to call B.S. on her college story.*

  • Samantha Markle barely knew her, her case against her half sister was just dismissed
  • Meghan never said she paid all her tuition or denied her closeness or the support from her father. She just stated she worked and that helped pay her tuition. Her sentence or two in Fiji is twisted to suit a narrative.

No, Harry SOLD insider gossip on his immediate family.

Harry choosing to tell the World he took drugs and lost his virginity behind a pub - up to him.

Selling stories about his father still being attached to his childhood teddy - not ok.

I can't help but feel sorry for Meghan.

This feels like school bullying, just on a global level.

this.
even when she is quiet she gets bashed

Spectre8 · 31/03/2023 09:44

Even the media have to regurgitate stuff now to have any articles about them. ..whats so hypocritical is people on here wanting them to go away, they do but people still start threads on them 🤔

People on here say they should move on and look to the future and stop talking about their past ...yet on here people are still dragging up what they said in the past just to bash them. Why don't you all just move on too.

People on here accuse them of being liars, yet quote from articles that are from some so called source or full of might have, could have...basically not facts.

Lol honestly threads like this are pure entertainment now, how people still try to come up with something to tear a person down over and over...actually its really pathetic

Warped sense of reality you say?

This this this.

It's ironic. Endless telling them to move on, let it go, yet those MNers who say that are incapable of it

kirinm · 31/03/2023 09:57

I'm not commenting on the article because I literally couldn't care less. I'm commenting because if finally feels like the bullies on MN are being identified for what they are.

Sure, the Royal family, press and the public are all the problem and poor Harry is the victim once again. We’re all supposed to forget his privilege, his racism, his boorish behaviour, or his invasion of others privacy such as discussing their private parts or medical history, or his cruel treatment of a disabled teacher. He can talk about comparing killing Afghans to playing a video game, wear Nazi uniforms for the fun of it, mock his brother’s baldness, call people racial slurs, violently attack his bodyguard, but we’re all supposed to either try to understand or minimize this awful behaviour, because it’s not his fault....it’s the whole world who's at fault and how dare we question/criticize his behaviour or motives. We’re all supposed to just believe his word despite his admittance of a faulty memory and his outright lies and contradictions, because he's Harry the forever victim.

This is an interesting view of what their foundation has got up to. This doesn't make them seem like the demons you'd like to imagine. Maybe he has got a point in what the press do to control what you think of them.

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 10:03

Harry has discussed his mistakes and what he’s done to learn, grow and change his behaviour. More people should do this.

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 10:05

The taliban, to be clear. Are you of the opinion the British army should be dissolved? Because how do you think ordinary men can go and kill anyone, regardless of if it’s the taliban or Russian soldiers, if they aren’t trained to dehumanise the enemy? People need to stop telling veterans they can’t honestly tell their stories. It causes them to carry the burden of what they did as if it was their sole responsibility. They do it in our name remember.

Roussette · 31/03/2023 10:05

Thanks for that link extra. Interesting.

What they did will of course be ridiculed by those who can't let go
