Vitriol? On this thread?
Where?

Would you like to be called a narcisisst? That is what has been stated about a woman who has shown her face once in 4 months.

Would you like it to be hinted that you are a sociopath or a psycho (Harry/Army stuff)

You need to read the posts. It's there. We see it.

When did William ever write a book that criticised Harry or revealed personal information about him like his private parts or balding hair? Charles is often mentioned as a way to justify Harry writing his book, but William has never said anything in public about Harry, nor has Catherine.

No, he saved that for his parents. Saying he was neglected, abandoned and unhappy down to their parenting

I’m pretty sure that is not what was put.

Would you like to be called a narcisisst?

I honestly couldn’t care less. I’ve already been called “thick” by your “kind” side and I’ve not crumbled into a pile of dust.

You're mentioning bullying.

That is what is happening to them. Continually. Tell me why a woman who is going about her own business, not seen for months, has a thread started about her followed by a load of unpleasant posts?

And when that doesn't wash with MNers, they turn to her husband to vilify

Could you tell me how being seen ONCE in month is being in the spotlight? It isn't. And you sound ridiculous insinuating this.

when have I ever criticised Meghan directly? I didn’t start this thread about Meghan, I do sympathise with her because thanks to the person she married she gets all the criticism instead of rightly blaming the person who caused her to fail from the start. It’s not her, it’s him. And fyi, I couldn’t stand the previous narrative that Harry was her victim when it was always obvious to me that he was the one who was making things worse instead of trying to make sure that she would be able to fit in with his family before they decided to become working royals. It’s him who chose to betray his family, not her.

jeffgoldblum · 31/03/2023 12:00

To be fair, Charles did write a book too, thus is fact but can anyone bullet point the scandals he revealed?

I would argue that most people don't care that Harry wrote a book too , it's the contents of the book that is the issue.

Theres nothing new in the article that anyone with an ounce of sense didn't know. MM is an influencer first and foremost. Influencers do just that, they don't necessarily need to be truthful, and she isn't. She also puts on an act which is as fake as they come, and hijacks woke causes for her own ends. She is basically a shallow individual who knows how to work the media to her own ends. Those ends being fame and money. She was lucky enough (or shall we say connived enough) to marry a man with no honour or decency and precarious mental health ripe for someone like MM to manipulate.

Her aim from the get go was hollywood fame and fortune and Harry was a means to an end. She is clever enough to employ good PR teams and clever business people to run the very dodgy Archwell, which is not technically a foundation, but parades as one.

Over the past year the whole world has woken up to some very dubious behaviour from this pair of hypocritical frauds, hence the plummeting popularity ratings even in the US. The cynical giving of titles to their children was just more leverage on the Home Office to have their security restored (and paid by the american taxpayer) because a prince and princess require far more protection than just a duke and duchess.

Harrys attack on the American first amendment is going down like a lead balloon in America, and his constant bleating about his fucking privacy, while blowing everyone else's out of the water, is beyond hypocrisy. If this pair don't cosy up somehow to the Royal Family and get some publicity traction, their brand and they will sink without a trace in a few years.

If they don’t want any criticism, they need to step away from the spotlight

Who is 'they' then?

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 12:03

Here’s Charles in 1994 complaining about privacy, as he takes a full crew in to his private residence to film him with his sons, and taboos intrusion into his life. He also discusses his relationship with Camille here and says he was faithful… until it broke down?? 😬 is that a lie, or??? Just a nuanced conversation. So after this, as we know, Charles continued to make a living off his family life despite complaining about privacy.

I feel bad enough if I hurt someone’s feelings, or if I physically hurt someone even if it was unintentional. Why wouldn't I feel awful knowing that I killed someone? Like I wrote, I have read stories from soldiers, many who have suffered PTSD, when they realised the horror of what they had done after the war had ended. These were veterans from WW1, WW2, Vietnam War. And there's a reason why the army and other soldiers became upset with Harry because they thought it was awful of him to compare humans to chess pieces or a video game.

@MamoruHisaishi
Your comments this morning re Harry are disingenuous at best.

Attached is what Harry actually said. And a Times column by an ex platoon leader, Anthony Lloyd, defending Harry’s comments.

Most military people who initially had a negative reaction to the tabloids’ purposefully misleading leaked “extracts” - aimed at damaging Harry - quickly changed their opinions after seeing what Harry actually wrote.

On the Colbert show, Harry himself spoke about the kind of nonsense you’re still shamelessly promoting: "Without a doubt, the most dangerous lie that they have told, is that I somehow boasted about the number of people I killed in Afghanistan." — Prince Harry tells Colbert, adding that his "words are not dangerous," but the spin on his "words are very dangerous."

The fact that you are still peddling this dangerous misinformation about a military veteran which has already been debunked is sinister, disappointing, and shameful.

It wasn’t hinted at.
One poster stated they would be traumatised if they had killed another human being, regardless of that human beings race, religion or political beliefs.
Another poster questioned them on that.
The other poster then stated that they are not a psychopath or a sociopath so would of course be traumatised by it.

Ahhh... here we go. This is what happens. When you have a regular poster who doesn't agree with you, you do the faux concern that they might be having a breakdown.

I've seen it all before. I've also been accused of being... (brace yourself, there's quite a list)

Doria
Jessical Mulroney
Working for Sachs
Russian
A bot
A troll
Meghan herself

An emotional topic? No. Not the slightest, I have a very happy lucky life.

I. just. hate. bullying.

And that is what I see on these threads.

I am quite happy, but excuse me if I don't thank you for your very transparent faux concern about me!

jeffgoldblum · 31/03/2023 12:05

@MamoruHisaishi , it won't make any difference whether you critique just Harry and not Meghan,
I too very rarely mention Meghan and blame Harry for almost all the problems.
However I still get called a Meghan hater!
Apparently you can't criticise one and not the other! 🤷‍♀️

Also, @RoussetteThe only personal attacks I have seen on this whole thread have come from your side of the argument.

Do you not have anything to say about that?

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 12:06

That heavily implied they thought Harry was a psychopath or sociopath. Because they were criticising his response.

A person who doesn’t feel bad or at least feel troubled that they have killed other people, actual human beings, no matter if deserved or not is actually not normal. To not think that there’s anything wrong in comparing people to a video game, to continue to dehumanise them even after the war ended, to not wonder whether any of the people he killed may have been innocent, shows there’s something wrong with that person. Other soldiers, the army and the taliban were outraged by what he wrote and what he said, and for him to dismiss their concerns and act like the victim once again shows his lack of empathy towards others. He doesn’t care if he causes offence, as long as he gets to say what he thinks is right, he is therefore in the right, others feelings be damned.

Maybe I should start 50 threads on Charles asking complaining about a lack of privacy in 1994 and then daring to be seen in public again

Do it. It’ll be a short thread though like the Andrew ones because most people will agree with you.

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 12:08

not normal
lack of empathy
sociopath
psychopath

All said from one poster about Harry, on a thread about Meghan, based on complete misrepresentation of what he has said.

The personal attacks from some posters on this thread about other posters.

Why doesn’t this bullying upset you?

I'd agree with this.

Though the article does suggest the interviewee is very bitchy towards Meghan but in a less direct way - mocking her hard work and ambition and inviting people to sneer at her career, and what everyone else in her industry does with presenting their back grounds, and at her wanting to do well in her career.

The article says nothing new about Meghan but does show Vanessa Grigoriadis to be a an elitist snob.

It refers to an article when someone did similar to Meghan wrote at first glace a supportive article that people then saw as critical - I don't think it a coincided that's in there and everyone is distracted by the clickbait headline and Meghan.
