Christening someone doesn’t change their birth cert name. It would be pretty pointless to christen her first name Princess Second Names Lilibet Diana when her legal name is Lilibet Diana???

I think that's because he says just "call me Harry" while making sure that his title is used everywhere, including the advertising of an event. He literally could just call himself Harry Windsor.

It's that overtrying to be pally. A bit like, "call me Dave" was with Cameron. Except in Harry's case he's very certain that his titles must be used at these same events.

Harry and Archie are entitled to British ones, other than by descent, as both were born in UK to British parents. Lili is entitled to one as she is British by descent (born overseas with a parent who is British other than by descent).

All of Archies hypothetical future DC will be entitled to be British citizens (by descent) but Lili's won't be, unless they are born in UK (as 'by descent' doesn't transmit another generation outside UK)

Meghan can't be British, as it was announced at the time of the marriage that she would not be fast-tracked to British citizenship. And she clearly hasn't fulfilled the necessary residency period.

And if Harry is on a greencard he will be able to take citizenship within three years of holding that greencard as he is married to an American citizen (five years if you are not married to an American)

Then he would be able to hold both passports - although as someone else pointed out you have to renounce foreign titles to do that.

I don’t wish it on them. Based on my own life experience of others in high pressure, high stress relationships between two troubled individuals who have estranged themselves from their families, they don’t tend to last. That’s a tragedy for the family.

Yes I see your point. Convenient I guess. I was going to suggest it's a bit like Twitter but Elon didn't go as far as insulting a collective group of its users. I guess from Justine's point if the number of posters she called deranged disappeared from her site tomorrow would it be of any consequence to her.

But somebody else made a valid point which is that they use the site for more than venting off about M&H so I guess that's what keeps them.
