Has anyone posted about this hearing to dismiss yesterday? Ellie Hall of Buzzfeed was tweeting. https://twitter.com/ellievhall/status/1625944386382008346 My opinion? Samantha is an ass who purposely humiliated Meghan, every chance she got. I hope they throw out the case and reprimand Samantha+ her attorney for being grifters and wasting the court's time.

It was such an odd claim in the first place. Evidently had zero prospects from the outset. I guess it would make sense that a tabloid was funding it in the hope of getting some stories from it.

BotSentinel is not proven untrue. Infact their data is responsible for some of SM and other trolls getting their channels shut down. He showed all the reports and receipts. The trolls hate him for it.

The SM network was also discovered by C2I2 ( UCLA Centre of Critical Internet Inquiry) as we were told by their director Safiya Noble who has written extensively on the subject of algorithms, tech trolling etc.

That's rather unfair...

On the other hand Samantha didn't appear to be proud of Megan's success or happy when she married well, just bitter and jealous and wanted to personally benefit some way.

Perhaps this is the reason?

As for her Dad he also seemed to want to cash in on her too. So no wonder she cut them out. Bear in mind, we don't know all the things that was said between them behind the scenes leading up to the situation. And parents who pay for private school don't automatically = good parents. Perhaps he is toxic in other ways. We don't know ALL the actual reasons she cut him out.

But I thought she'd always said that he'd been a great father.
'thoughtful, inspiring, hardworking (...) blood, sweat and tears this man invested in my future so that I could grow up to have so much'.

And weren't she and her niece like sisters. But she didn't invite her to the wedding and stopped returning her phone calls?

Do you seriously think all of the markles (apart from SM's daughter) deserve her attention? They are a bunch of grifters, crazy with jealousy. As SOON as Meghan and Harry came out about their relationship SM immediately comes out with the "princess pushy" shit - and no one could see how jealous and spiteful that was? Her father also cashed in on her, and says he will keep hounding her in the press. What kind of father does that? Face it, Meghan's Dad's family are trash. I'd cut them out too.

Bot Sentinal has made claims that have been proven to be untrue. In his report, Bouzy gave 55 accounts to Twitter who investigated and suspended just 4.

Four of the 55 primary accounts pinpointed by Tuesday’s report have been suspended for violating the platform’s policies, according to a Twitter spokesperson.
But the company said it found no evidence of “widespread coordination, the use of multiple accounts by single people, or other platform manipulation tactics.”

I thought her father blamed Meghan. And Meghan blamed her father. That seems two ways to me.

I would have thought Mike Markle who got her an internship in the US embassy in Argentina might have deserved her attention before he died of Parkinsons? He doesn't sound like a grifter to me.

BotSentinal has been proven by Twitter (of all people!) to be completely untrue in their analysis and accusations of hundreds of Twitter users being responsible for trolling meghan markle. I think twitter are in the unique position of being able to monitor their own platform. Christopher Bouzy is hardly a neutral witness following his twitter attacks on William and catherine.

So you think people should just put up with toxic relatives regardless of what they do to you? I completely disagree with that.

I don't know anything about Doria's family, I've not read a thing about them so I can't even say. Don't know what their situation is at all.

Well posters are repeating Meghan’s claims on here as fact.

Sam could win the case on the basis that Meghan’s claims weren’t true, but fail to receive damages as she has trashed her own reputation with her Twitter claims.

I must admit one Markle I did feel sorry for was her uncle who got her the internship. He did end up living in a trailer park and was quietly disappointed not the make the wedding. He died afterwards.

@Howsimplywonderful Maybe he couldn’t come because of his health? Was there any indication that he wasn’t invited? I’m assuming if he died afterwards, he might have been unwell. Also, maybe Meghan invited him to her first wedding?

I didn’t realise that some of Meghan’s family members were like that. Though I did remember reading on here that she was close to her dad at one point but her sister seemed odd. I’m assuming it’s only from one side of the family that’s causing issues and not her mother’s side? I’m wondering if it was because the wedding was such a spectacle and she was trying to keep things more private?

The owner of BotSentinal admits to having code to send massive numbers of complaint reports of all accounts that he deems hate in the hope that the quantity sways opinion of the mods. He had a senior Twitter employee under the old management who would help him ban people too. Many of the accounts that disappeared did so of their own accord even though BS claimed it was their community.

The BS reports were literal BS. A GCSE statistics coursework would have been more comprehensive. Picking out the 100 most prolific accounts is hardly groundbreaking. He didn't even describe his methodology- for example, how did he decide if a tweet was hate? As a person who admits not liking the RF or the UK it seems a pretty basic point to omit.
How did he find his sample of tweets to analyze? What date did he pick and why? Etc

Yep. It was all BS (not botsentinal!) Christopher Bouzy's qualification for being CEO of bot sentinal is that of a computer technician ie. he repaired machines.

Got to give it to him for his entepreneurial skill in conning millions of people. Reminds me of a certain lady

@MarshaMelrose I’m sorry I was just asking questions. I didn’t realise that some of Meghan’s family members were not invited. I also didn’t know about said uncle. I just thought it made sense if the guy passed away, maybe he just was unwell and couldn’t make it.

I’ve only heard of her immediate members of family and I could see why she didn’t want to invite her half siblings and I also assumed her father was invited because if I remember correctly there were reports on how his name was on the guest list or on the orders of service but he was unable to come due to poor health. That to me meant he was invited but couldn’t make it.

But I’m wondering how much of it was oversight? Meghan had someone else help her plan the wedding. I’m not sure how much help she received from the palace if any or whether she opted for her wedding planner, who I read on here is/was her friend, to do it not realising how much of a big task it was.
