She's been busy!

I hope that those who expressed concern will be happy to know that she has been working with the Archewell team on their just released Impact Report.

Meghan and Harry are polarising figures but there is no doubt that they have galvanising power to get projects, both little and big, off the ground.

Harry, with William and Kate, was a co-founder of the Royal Foundation in 2011. They had a start-up fund of just under 5 million pounds, of which 1.3 million pounds was given away in grants.

10 yrs later, Harry and Meghan set up Archewell, with start up funds of 13 million dollars, and give away three million dollars in grants.

As with both foundations, the reserve is carried over.

The range of their projects is interesting, from working with the Vaccine Alliance to raise private sector contributions to distribute vaccines, endowing academic fellowships, working with partners in resettling refugees from Ukraine and Afghanistan, working with World Central Kitchens, to smaller projects like the Uvalde community playground and park and a really cute project to a small charity that gives free hair braiding to young black girls in Texas.

I am so pleased for them, their advisors and staff as this is a dream start for any start up. I have long been sceptical that they may have spread themselves too thinly, so I am glad to see they are now focusing on just three areas, as they find their groove.

Also one of the super fans has accidentally exposed something on another thread, they started drawing attention to this thread, but made it look like they accidentally tagged the wrong person. However, even so, they managed to draw attention to this thread and spread misinformation that there was abuse (a pile on) on this thread.
The implication of this is kinda obvious. Maybe it was to rile up the troops and encourage a pile on of me, just cos I highlighted how I was being bullied and silenced. Also explains why all the usual suspects suddenly appeared to post at me around the same time, telling me off, parroting similar statements and using the same phrases, (e.g. WE KNOW) minimising my experience, and suddenly making it all about them selves by referencing stuff that happened to them apparently years ago to try and divert and hide what happened to me just a day ago. Also, I think it’s called triangulation when someone ropes in other people to legitimise what they are saying and uses this to try and take control. So again, v transparent.

@misslonglegs many people on this very thread are critical of Meghan but have not been racist.

Before I go, I will repeat what I came on here to say, before I started getting harassed, Meghan is a nepo baby, as is Harry. And people claiming to love them cos they’re republicans make zero sense. Harry and Meghan will always be part of the royal family. One day they will prob make up with their families too. They care more about Charles, William, Thomas etc. than they do about their super fans, even when families fall out they are still bonded. So don’t get too invested and don’t be too heart broken when they’re all cordial with each other again 🥹😂

However, I did enjoy their spat, it was worth it for Spare 😂

Harry was , is and will be the son of the King and Diana Princess of Wales and got married to a global audience of over 1 billion folks. He has written the fastest selling non-fiction book of all time and he and his wife are loving their new life with their children in the US. And as MrsMax says they have been readily accepted into Hollywood royalty as actual royalty. They will never be boring or cease to be of interest in a social media drenched world. We can debate elsewhere if that's a good thing (it isn't IMHO) but they are going to be relevant, and of interest to huge amounts of people and monetizable for the rest of their naturals, and will do it on their own terms. The best thing the BRF fans could do is to ignore them but they won't.....

I wouldn’t count Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi and Kris Jenner as Hollywood A-listers. Ellen DeGeneres had to end her talk show due to the widespread accusations of bullying, racism and harassment from her staff. Her treatment of some of her guests was pretty unpleasant too.

It's a private party , they maybe neighbours for all I know (just checked same small town so effectively are) and just want to party privately with other locals celebrating the marriage renewal of a friend. The photo is very grainy and obviously unauthorized so not sure what point folks are making implying it's kind of trashy.

It’s interesting that a lot of those famous guests have discussed their drug taking in interviews and made the headlines for alcohol and drug related issues. Didn’t Harry take mushrooms at Courtney Cox’s too.

Most of those stars have make lots of money - even Courtney Cox is worth 150m so they can chill and enjoy life - they don’t have young kids.

I was first on another forum that didn't allow name changes and in RL someone recognised me and then deliberately misconstrue and tried to cause serious trouble in RL so I came here.

When I'm posting about health or my kids education I don't want to have to deal with derailing posters upset I differ on politics, women's rights or views on RF especially as etiquette of not trawling though other threads for posts has slowly disappeared.

I always thought Meghan and Harry could make their own way and do something positive with their lives and fame however I think Spare has proven to be more of a PR misstep than a positive.

I have noticed this odd paring and I think some of that's the US influence - liking Meghan because she is US citizen ( as possibly her background and ethnicity ) and that they chose to live in USA but also the US republican views that are part of their culture.

I also think some actual political republicans think they are harming RF - which in a way they are but more the family human aspect and I think are more a distraction to the institution part - which is more power and tradition bit that I feel is harder and harder to justify with a modern country.

But so what? So what if Harry and Meghan are actually not being shunned and attended a party with friends, neighbours and Hollywood stars. They shouldn't be around them at all because Ellen is a bully like Meghan is a bully, and anyway Hollywood people are all druggies so they have found their tribe and, besides, it's any port in a storm.

Despite what people may think, it’s good they’ve found a tribe, while they smoke a bit of pot, I’ve always thought that Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox seems like lots of fun. They are chilled not ultra competitive, which will give the Sussex’s some breathing space.
