The "Where's Meghan" Question Has Been Definitively Answered ...

She's been busy!

I hope that those who expressed concern will be happy to know that she has been working with the Archewell team on their just released Impact Report.

Meghan and Harry are polarising figures but there is no doubt that they have galvanising power to get projects, both little and big, off the ground.

Harry, with William and Kate, was a co-founder of the Royal Foundation in 2011. They had a start-up fund of just under 5 million pounds, of which 1.3 million pounds was given away in grants.

10 yrs later, Harry and Meghan set up Archewell, with start up funds of 13 million dollars, and give away three million dollars in grants.

As with both foundations, the reserve is carried over.

The range of their projects is interesting, from working with the Vaccine Alliance to raise private sector contributions to distribute vaccines, endowing academic fellowships, working with partners in resettling refugees from Ukraine and Afghanistan, working with World Central Kitchens, to smaller projects like the Uvalde community playground and park and a really cute project to a small charity that gives free hair braiding to young black girls in Texas.

I am so pleased for them, their advisors and staff as this is a dream start for any start up. I have long been sceptical that they may have spread themselves too thinly, so I am glad to see they are now focusing on just three areas, as they find their groove.

@Neowulf Roussette has received a lot of bullying on this board. And some Royalists throw around a lot of personal insults.

Roussette · 02/02/2023 10:20

All that happened years ago did it? So that we can’t verify it? Funny that. I’ve lurked for a while, never saw any of it

Now you are really showing yourself up. I could link any number of threads and proof on here but I don't think MN would take too kindly to me doing that. Pretending it didn't happen because you didn't see it, will just not wash. There are countless posters who did see it.

If I was very cynical I’d be tempted to think that was exaggerated and made-up and dated in that way to make people think it happened before they joined and to then take your word for it

Exaggerated? No. Why would MN ban any threads on Meghan & Harry for 3 months then? That is fact.

I wish I had just been called 'pathetic' and that was it, very mild compared to what me and others were subjected to over years.

Enjoy your day, I won't be responding again to someone who is desperately trying to rewrite history. WE KNOW.

I agree with that, and thank you.

There are extremes on both sides.

AllOutofEverything · 02/02/2023 10:24

@Roussette No problem. It was obviously meant to drive you off the board. I am glad it has not.

Neowulf · 02/02/2023 10:25

So anyway I stand by my original point that Harry and Meghan are nepo babies just like the rest of their family. But the way they exploit vulnerable people and causes to raise their own profile and make cash money - v distasteful. Lecturing us on climate change, jetting everywhere themselves. Taking awards for racism, then denying racism in teh family. Saying they stand againt inequality and want to level the playing field but use their family connections and nepotism to their advantage when it suits them 😂

Hope they go to the coronation, a second book for our book club would be great!

I have skin like a very wrinkled old hippopotamus, it has hardened over the years 😂🤣

id love to see examples of this graciousness you’ve observed rousette , I’ve observed they usually tantrum, insult or whatabout when faced with pesky facts rather than ‘you may have a point’ 😀

Ohnonevermind · 02/02/2023 10:37

Despite posters saying I’m always negative, I had written before that I would have preferred them to spend their time setting up something like the DOE awards in the US which would be a far better use of their time than appearing on talk shows to slag of their families and talk about his frozen penis something like that would have made a real impact and be an enduring legacy to the grandparents he professed to love and adore

BlackBasket · 02/02/2023 10:38

Roussette · 02/02/2023 10:15

And I disagree with that... because it is the sort of insult used continually about Meghan (although hers are worse.)

I do think the lazy term can be discussed given she is a working paid for member of the royal family.

So you don’t disagree just because it’s wrong, but only because it’s the sort of insult Meghan gets?

Interesting how everything is framed through how Meghan is affected…

This is what I wrote on this thread a couple of days ago..

And she has been remarkably polite given she's been called a bot, AI, HazdeWinter, weird, Meghan, a paid shill and more. All very rude just because some don't like anything even remotely positive... the only option is to insult the OP. She has shown complete restraint given the personal rudeness thrown at her.

It says it all, the OP was ridiculed and insulted.

No. I just don't like personal insults thrown at women but if you want to make it into something else, that's fine.

We are on RF threads and it's hard not to compare sometimes, but I take your point.

pilates · 02/02/2023 10:52

@Roussette from what I have witnessed you can give as good as you get. No bullying just a lively debate.

Ohnonevermind · 02/02/2023 10:53

Oh this poster who had posts deleted for insulting me, that gracious poster, okay

Ohnonevermind · 02/02/2023 10:55

The poster who attacked me on the say only positive things about the Meghan podcast and I said it was a positive that archetypes employed a fact checked, that poster

Ohnonevermind · 02/02/2023 10:57

The poster who attacked me on the say only positive things about Meghan’s podcast where I said it was a positive that archetypes employed a fact checker - that poster is the gracious one.

last post had a few typos

jeffgoldblum · 02/02/2023 11:01

Yes this poster who drove an upset and suicidal poster off of my thread?
And bullied her with the help of another poster, very gracious!

Ohnonevermind · 02/02/2023 11:02

@Roussette
I think it’s pretty low to go on a thread and say ‘I think her husband had an affair’ without any proof and ‘that’s why his brother is mad’

and then get cross if anyone says that the Sussex’s are having marriage difficulties - again without any proof

I don’t like speculating on peoples marriages.

Which is why I would never say anything like that

I can assure you what Roussette said happened did happen. just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
it is hilarious that non pro posters are playing the victim here.

Roussette · 02/02/2023 09:49

What a load of tosh!

You cannot equate a few posters who are kicking back against the years and upwards of 600 threads denigrating H&M and seeing off anyone who disagreed with them, to the current climate of a couple of posters posting a more positive thread. And sticking up for themselves. I have seen these more positive posters gracious and polite after being called any number of names and ridiculed.

You have no idea what a few of us went through on MN since Meghan came on the scene. @Samcro has it. MNHQ were involved a lot, posters were banned, then came back again and again (one boasted she had rejoined 12 times!) to carry on their vile attacks. We were trolled, whole threads were deleted on a daily basis, personal attacks continually and as said... a whole forum set up to ostensibly 'chat' but it was a nasty vicious place with countless posts a day attacking posters like me who didn't loathe Meghan and Harry from day one. And this went on years.

By the way, you can call me what you like. I've had it all. You won't find a new insult. Fangirl, bot, shill, Doria, a SS employee, paid by Meghan, a grey haired old bint who is desperate, a stan... to name but a few

This. The hate-fest on here against H&M is far more cultish than the 'fans' are. I have only been back a little while and have been gobsmacked by the unadulterated hatred levelled at H&M and anyone who dare post anything challenge that narrative let along post anything remotely positive . As for the justification for this rabid behaviour... If ignorance, prejudice, and misogyny were hard currency the haters would be millionaires several times over.

Roundlampshade · 02/02/2023 11:13

Oh dear, here we go again. A lot of threads were deleted in 2020 - or was it 2021 ? - when we hit peak anti-Sussex threadss. So, a lot of the worst posts have disappeared which is why posters will recall abuse but there is now no physical evidence of it.

Ohnonevermind · 02/02/2023 11:16

I had a feeling you would deny saying it @Roussette as you have form so I screenshotted it and I’ve attached your post

as the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I have no idea what you are on about. That post is subjectively me talking of an ALLEGED affair. And not me saying he had one. I am talking about how the press would deal with it IF he had one. I have no idea if he did, why don't you save your anger for the posters that categorically state he had one.

Keep searching all my posts if that is your thing. Bit time-consuming I would say!

click on the attached picture and read to the end where you say ‘I personally think he did and that’s why Harry ……’

those are your words. Even when presented with the evidence you try to deny
