The royal family

To think Harry is really ill based on recent comments he's made?

I'm thinking of how he accuses the media of putting a spin on his comments about killing 25 men.

He says it's been taken out of context.
Does he even know what that means?

If the lines we read were quoted directly from the book, where is the spin? Yes, it may have been part of a bigger picture of (as he alludes to) helping soldiers overcome PTSD .

BUT he still gave a 'body count' and spoke of them as chess pieces (all of which the Army has said is not how they teach soldiers to think.)

Even if- and it's a big 'if' - the intention was good behind relating his war experiences, someone ought to have edited the book. He should have had advice from the military, rather than relying on a ghost writer.

He appears to be in complete denial about anything he does and the fault is always someone else's.

So sad, really, and how his father is coping I have no idea.

What I can’t understand is why news outlets told us all the Taliban’s “response” to him killing 25 of their terrorist group members. Who gives a fuck what those murdering bastards think about anything? It’s completely baffling that they were given air time, from any news outlet, let alone BBC, Sky etc.

You don't think the news should report increased risk to the UK population and armed forces? That's the one bit of this that is actually news worthy.

I see it differently and believe Harry is being very strongly gaslit. Whist there is no definitive truth, I believe he’s speaking his and I think that’s where other members of the RF fall down. I think the media is gaslighting him now and the public are being manipulated by said media to do this same. The RF is the cash cow for the media and there is too much at stake for them not to invest all they have in convincing the ‘great unwashed’ that Harry is ‘remembering it wrong’.

I think every single adult in the UK would think that publically repeating private, family, conversations is wrong. You don't need The Sun to tell you that. Although we don't have many taboos in modern Britain, that's probably one of the last remaining ones.

Why is he always alone at these interviews , since Oprah? Where's Meghan?

I give a fuck what they think because they're very dangerous and powerful people and I don't want the media censoring the reality. It doesn't mean I approve of them.

It's not her story, though. If she was there, people would say she's controlling him.

Yep. You can't really manage security on the basis of dismissing what people who aren't very nice have to say. The not very nice ones are a large part of the reason for security in the first place!

That Sandringham extract is batshit. If it's a joke it's not in the slightest bit funny, if it's a lie, why? And if it's true, fuck, that is screwed up.

You have been sucked in.
Harry is the persecutor.
He is selling very private and unkind stories about his family
He is hurting them by taunting them during interviews

The victims are in fact the royal family. He has relentlessly cashed in on attacking them.

Harry is the liar, and every single thing he says he either back peddles, contradicts himself in the following interview and/or it is proved to be a complete lie.

It really worries me that people actually believe what he is saying. He is deranged.

Lol.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 12/01/2023 10:50

All morality with Harry is about thinking one thing until someone puts him straight, and then he learns and thinks another thing. What is his own moral compass?

Does he even have a functioning moral compass?
I can't say I've seen much evidence of one myself ...

I don’t think he’s ill. I think he’s taken a calculated risk.

When you are up against such a powerful institution as the monarchy, and feel you are being stone-walled, I think you probably have to go big or go home.

And I think he’s put so much detail in it because then there’s nothing left for the press to spin.

I could be wrong but I think it could be all about how the media in general is spinning it and of course attendant potential profits!

I haven’t read ‘Spare’ yet but I read an article on the-line today that said that Harry apparently directs quite a lot of criticism towards Rebekah Brooks in the book as he (apparently) says that she allegedly spun a story about him related to his alleged drug-taking.

Brooks, as posters may know, is
a former journalist, former editor of
tabloid newspapers, and a prominent figure in the news international phone hacking scandal.

According to a 2014 article in the Evening Standard, among her closest friends who “had her back” during the hacking trial in which she was implicated
but was ultimately found not guilty, were:

Jeremy Clarkson - quoted as being “beyond ecstatic” at the verdict

Piers Morgan - “So happy for my friends Rebekah and Charlie”

Sound familiar?

And who does Rebekah Brooks work for now? She is apparently an executive for
Murdoch-owned News International.

Who benefits most from turmoil within the Royal Family? The media in general of course.

Follow the money trail everyone!

Disclaimer: this is all supposition on my part, I have no proof, I am sure Rebekah Brooks has many other friends too 🤔
