So the Royal Family isn’t racist?

That’s what I took from Harry’s recent interview. That they didn’t accuse the royal family of being racist in the Oprah interview?!

I’m interested to read what all of the posters here who constantly claim the RF is racist think about what Harry said. It must be very troubling?

I suspect there will be either a deafening silence or accusations of misinterpreting Harry’s words .
It was absolutely clear they were accusing the RF of racism hence The Queen’s statement.

He now says it is a normal conversation to have but in OW interview he said he couldn’t repeat the conversation, why not if it is a normal conversation to have

He also said in Oprah he was very taken aback when it was first said to him! He needs to make up his mind, is it a normal conversation to have or was it so shocking that he was taken aback - which one is it. Or maybe it's actually neither of these.

There will be no one on the planet now who will ever believe a word this boy says! Nor will they want to speak to him in case it ends up in the papers the next day.

He couldn’t have alienated himself any more if he had been actively trying to. And forgive me but I find it baffling that they did nothing but bleat on that they wanted a quiet and private life but have done nothing but make attempt after cringey attempt to get themselves noticed and in the spot light.

I have never, ever in my life, witnessed such a display of contradiction at every turn.

It’s almost as if they’ve gaslit each other to such an extent that it’s now their normal and they don’t even realise that they’re now projecting that toxic victimised mindset out into the world, expecting us all to be as blinded and in awe of them as they are of each other. Madness.

Harry said it was the British Press that said RF were racist not Meghan.

I mean that's so obviously bollocks that I don't know how he kept a straight face. TB clearly thought it was bollocks.

They absolutely implied that the RF are racist. In the OW interview... The tears, the dramatic pause, the OW reaction. That was all pulled together to absolutely say THE RF ARE RACIST.

Yet now he spins that around and says the questions asked are what any mixed race family would wonder??

What an absolute prize twat. The disdain and disrespect he showed to his elderly and I'll grandmother. It upset her to the point she released her own statement about it.

He and Meghan should hang their heads in shame.

They went too far. The racism claims are the one thing that everyone keeps coming back to - rightly - and they can’t progress, those exaggerations are holding them back and damaging the family that they need to stay connected to. I imagine the constant “why do you want titles and to come to royal events if it’s all so racist then?” questions are difficult to negotiate.

Anyone else hope that in her heart of hearts the Queen knew that everything would come out in the wash and the truth would out? Makes me a bit sad to think she might of died thinking these twats might actually get away with all this. But I reckon she was savvy and probably knew he’d come a cropper, though that in itself probably bought her sadness to know her grandson was going to sabotage his own life.

Because they’re hypocrites and they can’t keep their stories straight. I’m amazed anyone gives any credence to anything they say. Meghan’s blatant story telling that someone was concerned over the colour of Archie’s skin when the real story was someone apparently was curious as to what any future children would like with the combination of race and ginger hair! Archie wasn’t even a twinkle in their eyes!

I guess he thinks he's being clever calling it "unconscious bias" and treading a fine line not ever calling it racism and how he's oh so enlightened on the subject these days-and it all got misinterpreted as blatant racism but they need to learn and they haven't hired a diversity guru like they said they would.

It's true, my white work colleague and her mixed race husband and their families were agog with excitement about who their baby would take after, fairer skin and blue eyes like mum, or darker complexion and brown yes like dad.
It's perfectly natural in none mixed families as well. Wondering about hair colour, eye colour etc.

The more I hear him, the more he sounds like someone in a cult. He just seemed blank whenever asked certain questions, like the cogs stopped spinning. His answers changed all the time and he strikes me as someone who has totally lost touch with their authentic self. I think he is a very, very confused person. A lot of what he said sounded like total rubbish.

He was actually quite racist in his remarks - that in a mixed family the white side will be wondering what colour the child is (with the implication the the black/brown side wouldn't). In my mixed family BOTH sides speculate on who the children would take after (every time...)

I watched it and was flabbergasted. I had some sympathy for him at the beginning of the interview but then my jaw dropped at that bit.
News at 10 afterwards played the Oprah clip and then his backtracking. TB didn't believe him either.
Another inconsistent bit was he said that he thought 100% could resolve stuff with his family and then said differently at end.
You couldn't make this shit up. I wondered if I was imagining it all.

Oprah’s reaction to them implying the RF was racist was beamed around the world. Headlines everywhere. H and M accepted this award.

Harry claims, and he is right, that the tabloids are awful, so why did he not come out and correct them after the OW interview aired? Or sue them? decline the award?

Thinking about this is suggest one of two things Harry is either playing it down now because he lied and twisted the facts to Meghan about this from the start and is desperately trying to backtrack or most likely he made the whole thing up like him and his liar wife do pretty much every other claim.
