I know 3 midwives and they all say lots of dads/birthing partners try it including their own partners when they gave birth. I’d presume the canister was nearly empty, you don’t get a new one, just a new mouthpiece.

I take it you've never worked in a clinical setting? Entonox is delivered from cylinders, and of course the cylinders run out, regularly in fact. The article doesn't say that the hospital ran out of entonox

I think that she’s got him/allowed him to confess to substance abuse, unreasonable behaviour and long-standing anger issues.

I think that-from his own words-he’s an extremely damaged, not very bright man who is being enabled/exploited by everyone now in his life who is emotionally stuck at 12 years old. I’ve gone from thinking he’s a real dick to actually feeling very sorry for him. His children aren’t going to grow up with any family around them, are they? He’s clearly not considered the impact this might have on them as they grow up. We don’t know what actually happened because we’ve only heard one side of the story but I’d never forgive a family member that put that sort of detail in the public domain.
