H is reported as saying they were amazed when they visited W&C in Kensington Palace and saw the art work, the furniture etc etc.

Whereas HE had to kit out Notts Cott with Ikea stuff that M bought using her CC. (Harrods is just down the road as is John Lewis .)

Has he forgotten the £millions of tax payers' money that was used to tart up Nott Cott?

And that he's now had to pay back as they buggered off the US soon afterwards?

I suspect it's more that the ones calling Nottingham Cottage 'a hovel' would only ever consider a new build with UPVC windows etc, and would regard anything old as utterly unbearable...

They could also fit a pretty big Christmas tree in, and it has a fairly large garden for a 2 up two-down cottage. Given it’s also on a completely secure estate and with a huge park literally on their their doorstep, plus walking distance to plenty of high-end shops and restaurants, I think it was a pretty good location to live for a year or so while their primary home was identified and renovated. “But it’s not a palace!” is such a revealing whine from the couple - talk about telling us who they are.

And there's no room in the walk-in freezer for all the meatballs.

Well they could have lived full time in the large £2.5 million house in the Cotswolds they had as well if they wanted to.
