There is a little touch of Barbara Cartland in his recounting.

I'm a bit uncomfortable at how quickly everyone is rushing to dismiss the possibility this was a less than savoury encounter. I doubt he was groomed as such, and obviously we don't know her age, but if it was an "older man" who'd taken a teenagers virginity in a field behind a pub I doubt posters would be so keen to dismiss it as "oh it's only so she can try and claim she was groomed". The word predator would probably have been used by now.

Who knows if this is even an accurate translation of the book however. I don't think there's anything in the world that could possess me to buy it.
