Meghan 'offended' for telling Kate she had 'baby brain'

Well, the Daily Fail have got their hands on a Spanish copy of the ''memoir'', so there is going to be shrapnel flying about from now until kingdom come.

One of these ''revelations'' is that Meghan made a joke about Kate having ''baby brain hormones'' a month after having Louis, which upset Kate, which in turn then upset Meghan.

Can you imagine the Oprah-style feeding frenzy had this been reversed - Kate telling Meghan that she had baby brain and hormones, which would have perfectly tapped into the villainous ice queen depiction that H&M are flogging right now?

Harry is soap operatising the royal family in the most sensational and tabloid dripfeed way possible (calling his brother his 'archnemesis'.

He is shockingly narcissistic, if he thinks this is not also going to also blow up on him and Meghan. The hypocrisy and whole thing is a shit show.

Or at least the balance of opinion on MN appears to fawn.

Dead weird.

The tampax tape was genius tbf

So you would be happy with your private sexual conversations with your partner to be recorded and released to the worlds media?

goodbyestranger · 05/01/2023 18:53

Yes absolutely fine with that. But then I don't recall any of my partners ever being so messed up as to claim that they'd want to be my tampax while I was having a period.

goodbyestranger · 05/01/2023 18:54

Also, I don't actually want a used tampax to rule over me but I digress.

Holdinghnds · 05/01/2023 18:56

So Meghan told Kate she must have baby brain from all her hormones when Kate raised a concern about the appropriateness of clothes her 3 yr old (4th in line to the throne) daughter was being put in for a televised event about to be watched by over 10 million people? And people don’t understand why Kate and William may have a problem with that?
Harry thinks he’s showing everyone how wicked his brother is for pointing his finger at Meghan and calling her rude, not realising how much he’d be shooting his wife in the foot.
I actually feel a bit sorry for him, he’s clearly very troubled and this could all end terribly badly for him.

queenofarles · 05/01/2023 18:58

Especially the spanking stuff. I can't breathe. This is amazing.
Oh god 🤣🤣🤣, it’s sounds like a regency era romance novel, complete with a romp in the field spanking and mounting.

Falalalalalalaetc · 05/01/2023 19:03

The only logical explanation for this, if it's all truly from the book, is that Harry (and M presumably) actually think this all makes them look good and as if they're right.

How deluded can you get? He's telling the story in his own words and everyone else is thinking they're entitled, snobbish, and highly unpleasant human beings.

It's going to be awful for his kids when they're old enough to read this book.

Ohnonevermind · 05/01/2023 19:03

@queenofarles

and he will be reading it himself for the Audio book.

I predicted mills and boon in their future, but who would have thought that Harry would be writing them

Falalalalalalaetc · 05/01/2023 19:04

Who does this to their kids? How awful!

goodbyestranger · 05/01/2023 19:05

Finger right in your face = very, very intimidating and unpleasant. Reflects very badly on the owner of the finger.

That's not what was said - Camilla said something like would you like to be my knickers and Charles said It would be just my luck I ended up your Tampax and got flushed down the loo, it was hardly edifying but it was a daft private conversation.

KingHaroldHarefoot · 05/01/2023 18:32

'You have baby brain hormones' is Meghan's way to say Kate was hysterical. Not cool.

Telling someone they have Covid Brian can be offensive depending on the circumstance. Clearly Meghan has been playing power games from the beginning.

Covid Brian must be the new Typhoid Mary.......

How weird to be happy to have your private sexual conversations with your partner broadcast to the world, tampon or no tampon, but hey you do you.

BradfordGirl · 05/01/2023 19:09

@Codfishermen Charles said he wanted to be a tampax inside Camilla. Unusual "sexy" talk.

goodbyestranger · 05/01/2023 19:14

Codfishermen I listened to the reporting at the time, I know what what said and I re-iterate: I don't want a tampax to long reign over me happy and glorious - urgh, horrible. Charles is not ok and none of these fucked up people should remain in public life, adulated by the public that they manipulate through the press. Even if they paid taxes appropriately and didn't meddle in legislation I'd say the same. They are absolutely not to be looked up to quite the reverse. Let's hope that Harry's expedites the process towards a new constitution.

CHARLES: Oh stop! I want to feel my way along you, all over you and up and down you and in and out . . .
CAMILLA: Oh!
CHARLES: Particularly in and out.
CAMILLA: Oh, that's just what I need at the moment.
CHARLES: Is it?
CHARLES: Oh, God. I’ll just live inside your trousers or something. It would be much easier!
CAMILLA: (laughing) What are you going to turn into, a pair of knickers? (Both laugh). Oh, you’re going to come back as a pair of knickers.
CHARLES: Or, God forbid, a Tampax. Just my luck! (Laughs)
CAMILLA: You are a complete idiot! (Laughs) Oh, what a wonderful idea

ReneBumsWombats · 05/01/2023 19:17

Yeah, I'd prefer a Lil-let.

Xenia · 05/01/2023 19:21

It is certainly strange Harry thinks what MM did and said (if indeed she said it) is fine. Who says someone has "baby brain" ( a condition that does not even exist) particularly to a member of the royal family? It is an awful nasty thing to say.

goodbyestranger · 05/01/2023 19:22

LadyVictoriaSponge I can't recall having had private sexual conversations with my partners on anything recordable. Apologies if that fails to titillate you. But if I had, I can't imagine for a moment that I'd have done anything but hung up the phone smartish on any weirdo, titled or otherwise, who told me he'd like to be wedged up my fanny as a tampax. He'd be given a red card pdq. You may be less uptight than me of course, and want that kind of guy to rule over you. Each to their own.

Ineedtosleep79 · 05/01/2023 19:24

ReneBumsWombats · 05/01/2023 18:45

You can't be a senior royal and release this stuff and expect people not to talk about it.

Especially the spanking stuff. I can't breathe. This is amazing.

I haven't read about this spanking stuff 😂 I mean the mind boggles. Agree it's somewhat interesting but it bothers me when people seemed to have pre-conceived, over the top notions of ill will towards H and M. I don't know I just get a sinister feeling about the whole thing. Sick of ppl arguing abt it all the time, it's so weird really.

Eastie77Returns · 05/01/2023 19:24

ajandjjmum · 05/01/2023 17:24

Because Kate is a peacemaker. She tries to see the other side, knows the wedding is a lot of stress and doesn't want to cause problems, and will do what she can to make the situation easier. Look how she walked with Harry and William at Philip's funeral, and then dropped back to give them space (not that it worked!). Other people try and make a drama out of everything.

I agree she has probably tried to act as a peacemaker - obviously I don’t know the woman but she seems like a nice person and the only one in that entire family raised by normal, loving parents - but there is being a peacemaker and being a walkover. Sending flowers is enabling MM’s behaviour and feeding her victimhood.

Anyway I agree with a PP that the ghost writer is subtly taking the piss out of H&M. No serious writer would have included an anecdote about a trained soldier who has ‘killed 25 people’ on the frontline being pushed into a dog bowl and injured. The whole thing is beyond parody.

AcrossthePond55 · 05/01/2023 19:25

Canthave2manycats · 05/01/2023 17:05

They mustn't have any friends left - they will too afraid that H&M will sell them out to the highest bidder.

Maybe W and H did beg C not to marry Camilla but they were probably still in their teens with talk of wicked stepmothers - and whatever anyone thinks of her, she and he appear happy with each other.

I agree with you about W & H both most likely not wanting C to marry C. I probably would have felt the same in their situation. But it's water under the bridge now and Camilla is now not only a member of their 'actual family', she appears to be a respected member of the RF as an institution. If H wants to say how much he hated the idea of C & C marrying, that's fine. But before he drags another person (W) into the narrative, he should check with them. W is in the position of having to have a cordial relationship with the Queen Consort, H has flown the coop and can say what he likes without ever having to face her again if he doesn't want to.

I'm old enough to have lived through the whole debacle from Charles' and Diana's engagement to her horrible death in Paris to the eventual marriage of C & C. I was Team Di 100% and still feel that she was ill-used from day 1 by the Institution and completely unprepared for what was to come. But it also became evident that C & C had always been in love and should have been allowed to marry in the first place, so in a way they were 'wronged' by the Institution, too. The whole thing was just a terrible terrible mess.

queenofarles · 05/01/2023 19:27

Oh Meghan really needs to start calling him haiche the stallion 😆😆,
