he mentions he immediately called his therapist (and they picked up) shows just how out of touch he is with real life.

Agreed. Of all the newspapers in all the world this one wouldn’t go looking fo r the story,

It was leaked a few days ago, actually.

ShepherdMoons · 05/01/2023 11:08

I agree with the poster who said that M&H seem to have odd intentions. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to be in their family and it must be so confusing. One minute Harry is saying things like this about William and in the same moment then wanting him back in his life. It's totally weird and dysfunctional. Very frustrating as the boundaries are constantly slipping backward and forward.

All families have ups and downs, I do think Meghan was treated badly by the press but I think she probably did get annoyed with the staff, possibly lost her cool. William will have stepped in, Harry then gets annoyed, etc. I don't think any of them are saints but I don't agree that they are abusers either.

Really? Interesting. Do you know why it took so long for a UK paper to pick it up?

Laiste · 05/01/2023 11:09

@HotChoxs just let BrafordGirl be sad. She's very sad.

Sad

Why does anyone pay any attention to him. I have had fights with my brother. Its what siblings do. Harry just wants to keep the spotlight on himself whilst also claiming to want to avoid media attention. I wish the British media would just ignore him.

I have fights with my brother too. They have never been physical once we left our teens

Wheresthebeach · 05/01/2023 11:09

Since we'll never know for sure either way - my version goes likes this-

William saying there is an issue with how MM is treating people,
Harry going off on one shouting about the media,
William grabbing his shoulder saying something like 'for fuck's sake listen to me, this isn't about the media, its about how M talks to staff',
Harry pulls away angrily and trips over the dog bowl,
Harry accuses William of attacking him which William denies.

Of course we'll never know, unless Harry filmed it. It is, absolutely the most tawdry mess.

Goodgrief82 · 05/01/2023 11:09

@BradfordGirl

all you are doing is diluting the true seriousness of violence by harping on about his this shove between brother is some kind of serious violent incident that we should all be deeply worried about

clyspa · 05/01/2023 11:10

Well according to the sun (I know) the book has gone on sell in Spain and they got a copy so imagine we will know everything before it even goes on sale

clyspa · 05/01/2023 11:10

On sale in the U.K. I mean unless this is a ruse!

Sad

Someone sad at this…. Makes me wonder whether they spend their life feeling sad

because to most people with any kind of sense of perspective… this is not sad!

ShepherdMoons · 05/01/2023 11:11

@user1492757084 yes Meghan has not got good relationships with anyone in her family apart from her mother and I think a cousin. I think she's very much into 'taking a stand' which is great for a good cause. It becomes difficult when you are dealing with families, sometimes we have to compromise (I don't mean forgive awful abuse) but just learn to accept this is how they are. Most people just distance themselves without huge arguments.

PH:... and then he pushed me and ripped my necklace and I fell and I broke the dog bowl.

theworldhas · 05/01/2023 10:05

@notimagain

All of those mentioned he will have interacted with on a professional basis - ie exclusively work/role connected - not a personal one. So the point still stands.

With regard to PW and flying, only dealing with rich white folk, and only having professionally based/centred conversations, no I'm afraid your point does not still stand.

If he went through the flying training system in a manner similar to previous royals (and it is reported he did) then he'll have for example spent time in the students crew room, away from the instructors and the senior ranks.

Nobody stands on ceremony in those places..it's a location where the students are either about how their last trip went or whose turn it is to clean up the coffee cups, and at time a place for comparing notes with other students on the next exercise, next instructor etc, or failing that discussing what happened in the football last night....

Similarly in the Air Ambulance work...he'll probably have been given short shrift by fellow crew and other team members if every single communication (either about something professional or something social) had to be handled on "remember you are talking to royal" basis, and (like in flying training) he will certainly have had to have been able to accept criticism and hopefully constructive advice.

Ultimately PW may well have his faults but certainly won't have spent all his formative years in a rich white person bubble, only taking time to communicate with the plebs about professional matters.

Sorry what do you mean?

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 05/01/2023 11:13

Most people probably thought there was some truth to the bullying stuff. H reporting W's level of anger supports this belief.

This. I think PH is too thick to understand that PW describing M as 'difficult rude and abrasive' is actually quite damaging to M. This isn't PW leaking his view of M, this is PH doing it. If I were PW I'd be thinking, thank fuck, finally the world knows my view on her and her husband did it for me!

Goodgrief82 · 05/01/2023 11:14

Just seen @BradfordGirl has started her own thread

about violence between adults in a family

😂

Goodgrief82 · 05/01/2023 11:14

Never being acceptable!

secsee · 05/01/2023 11:15

Like lying that the Archbishop of Canterbury secretly married them in a garden and then committed fraud by lying on a legal document when signing at the actual wedding?

@Thisistyresome

This wedding thing is always brought up. Truly, who cares? So they had another ceremony. Maybe she wasn't clear on the purpose - which is a lot more likely than her deliberately lying on worldwide TV. Genuinely who gives a fig anyway

That's not a big thing to lie about. Like your brother knocking you to the ground physically. Also we're talking about Harry so whether Meghan told a half truth is irrelevant

ShepherdMoons · 05/01/2023 11:15

I'm pretty sure Harry will have also said inflammatory things to William. Two sides to every story.

Lampzade · 05/01/2023 11:16

I don’t care what Harry or Meghan are supposed to have done or said
A future King of England assaulting his brother is disgusting .
Anyone who excuses and condones this behaviour is disgusting too

CocoC · 05/01/2023 11:16

Doesn't say much for the army training nowadays when Harry, former professional soldier in his prime, gets pushed around by an older, middle aged balding bloke and keeps banging on about being 'scared' when he shouts or gets a bit physical!
Not saying adult brothers should get physical, but surely Harry could just have shoved him off??
Whole thing is laughable.

Sugarfree23 · 05/01/2023 11:16

@NottanOtter 🤣

We've all heard the expressions to being handed your arse on a plate - arse in a dog bowl
