He has to do the rounds of interviews and publicity to sell his book. No different from any one else in the public eye that’s promoting something. Of course, any comment about his family is going to make the headlines.

I don’t know why he wants to reconcile with his father and brother. I think they treated him and Meghan badly. He’s better off out. The RF are toxic imo.

I doubt they would want to spoil it !!

He wanted to be King, she wanted to be Queen - they think they would be better in charge and have better appeal, biggest tantrums for not getting our way.
They have cut out the friends and family (TM) that do not fit the rhetoric or dare to question their reality. Yes William got treated differently but no two children get treated the same in any family.

The RF does not control the media, never has done, H should know that better than anyone. M struggled to adapt to a new country and life but rejected the help offered.

Harry and Meghan are playing everyone like a fiddle, while raking in millions - and I applaud them for it! People think they’re hurting them by casting them as the pantomime baddies, but they’ve absolutely nailed the roles. Booo!!!!!!

And it’s also a victimless crime of course: the Royals are such an incredibly dysfunctional clan that this is all just a bit of light banter in the scheme of their fucked up realities.

The Duke of Sussex also says "I want a family, not an institution" and "they've shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile". That, along with their “silence is betrayal” isn’t the right way to go about getting them back.
It should read, “I want a grovelling, public apology from my family”. Well, good luck with that, as they’re not the ones who need to apologise.

Yeah, and it’s shameful how the Mail and the Sun etc are being forced to print sometimes twelve stories about them a day, and how people are forced in their millions to comment on their lives.

I read an article about how the RF have to stay relevant or else people will realise they are not worth the luxury they live in especially during a recession. So I personally think that this is part of that agenda, Harry and Meghan are the evil victims biting the hands that feed them and all the press/royal fans come out to support them and protect them against two people. I think we are being hoodwinked, how can a well-oiled, funded and staffed institution like the Royal family ever be the victims! I think the Royal Family could have easily protected H &M, think about how efficiently they kept the William affair largely out of the papers or certainly not on the front pages. The fact they didn't protect them makes me think Harry tells more truth than lies. But I am no fan of any of them and the only reason I don't want to get rid of them is because I fear we might one day end up with a president like Trump!

I feel for Harry; I'm not surprised he wants his family back (Yes, even W & K). I'd wager that he misses all of them and his old life but also loves his new family and wants them to be happy.

He's torn and doing what he thinks he should do. I wonder if he's listened to a different way of going about things from someone else that he trusts.

(I haven't watched any of their videos, by the way, just gleening from posts on here and a few articles).

I think he and Meg would just stop fighting with them (they obviously want to be part of the firm) and I wish his father would reach out to him privately. Perhaps he has.

He believes the entire family and all their employees only say bad things about him and her, and good things about everyone else.

You know what? I think that would have been perfectly possible. Meghan could have continued her acting career, Harry could have continued in the army (there are loads of jobs he could have done without being on the front line) or been a serious advocate for veterans.

They could have joined in for stuff like the jubilee, exactly the same as Zara Tindall does, gone to Balmoral and Sandringham to spend time with his family.

Instead they've blown their chances sky high by their monetising of the relationship with the RF, the insinuations, the untruths, the ridiculously dramatic interviews/docudramas.

The RF 'get a grip' botsters are out in force today. So are the 'I'll wait and hear what they have to say - I'll wait and hear what they have to say - pieces of eight - pieces of eight' botsters.

They are quite charming.

It's just unsubstantiated thinks and feels. He's lost in his own victimhood. Nothing is his fault. Even when he dressed as a nazi or committed a racist act, he said it was unconscious bias so it wasn't his fault. Aw, poor Harry, trundling through life running people over but its their fault for getting in his way.

yeah, all publicity is good publicity. Having demonised Megan/Harry as the spawn of Myra Hindley and Stalin, it has also enabled the media to nicely juxtapose this evil pair with our saviours Saint Catherine and Wise King Charles.

Same old tripe. If he wants to heal rifts he needs to start behaving like an emotionally responsible adult and not an overprivileged tantruming six year old. I think he’ll find it’s a bit late in any case - the fact he thinks it’s possible or likely shows how delusional he is.

This is an excellent media strategy. Keep everyone gossiping about some pretend RF rift so that there is no public debate on why we are about to have a new king that the majority of the public do not want.

Whilst we live with a monarchy we are not a democracy.

Whilst there was 1 Trump, there are many example of amazing presidents across the world.

....and don't get me started on the paedophile 'Prince' Andrew. How could an elected President be worse that that?

If this is the case, it feels even more likely that he was coached in familial alienation by his expert wife.
