No mistaking his wife has been atrociously treated, and to some extent he probably has, too. His family (not excluding himself) has a demonstrable track-record of exactly the kind of prejudices they are complaining about. Similarly, the complaint about feeding stories to the press seems highly plausible to me, given Charles's household used a precisely similar MO about Diana. For an indication of someone's present/future behaviour, it's necessary to look no further than their actions in the past.
It seems difficult for a biased media to comprehend that this couple might have some legitimate complaints. They likely do. But two things are evident from this interview. First, is that they've been firing snide innuendos at veiled family members without coming out and saying exactly what it is that's pissed them off. That's cowardice. Shit, or get off the pot.
Second: having hit out in that way, he's now saying he wants his father and brother back. Something about this smacks very strongly of the well-documented oscillation between love-bombing and 'negging', for want of a better word, practiced by those of an abusive disposition.
I have to lay my prejudices bear and say don't have much sympathy for any one member of this overprivileged, teflon-coated, establishment mob. In return for that privilege they can't even make a pretence at basic civility in public. They are a shower. But whilst I think the Windsors are a set of racist, colonialist, entitled, dim, arrogant buffoons with a misplaced social superiority complex, and am very willing to believe they treated the spare and his Mrs as unworthy, he is rapidly losing any sympathy I might have had for him.
That family has some serious growing up to do. The whole bunch of them need their heads banging together.
