The NDA will be water tight if they attend 🙂

At last someone thinks like me, H married her to make waves, he is destructive, you inset him he makes trouble, a bit like his Mum

AT LAST! Someone who isn’t all saint Diana - he’s a lot like his mum. Both terribly selfish and attention seeking and as mad as box of frogs.

Charles is Harry's Dad and Harry's children's Grandad he will always be Dad and Grandad of course he's going to invite this son and his sons family to the coronation.

Oh yes, because family relationships and communication never totally break down do they? !!!

clyspa · 04/01/2023 00:33

No woman is a slapper - can we stop with this pls,

VA (17 yr old) was trafficked and groomed by adults. There were many adults at fault including her parents, any other adult family and friends (for not protecting her) as well of course as Epstein et al.

I think anyone would be a miffed if they were separated from their husband at an event. Wouldn't you be missed off is someone did that to you?

It always happens at Coronations.

Royal Dukes sit in one place. The rest of the Dukes near them.

Royal ladies (& non peerage holders and family) sit in a viewing place.
The non-royal duchesses all sit together.

The Dukes play a part in the ceremony so they are in place for that.

Jacopo · 04/01/2023 01:13

Unless there is some massive improvement in family relationships in the next five months there is no way Harry is going to kneel down in front of his father and pledge to be his liege lord etc etc.
Eventually he would have to do the same for William too of course, if he hasn’t managed to get the monarchy abolished before then.
I don’t think Harry and Meghan will attend this coronation, or the next one.

Buffs · 04/01/2023 01:33

Exactly.

MarshaMelrose · 04/01/2023 03:00

If they don't come, do you think they'll do commentary for one of the US news channels? Mega bucks in that.

clyspa · 04/01/2023 03:21

Given their apparent collective ignorance of royal protocol (when and how to curtesy etc) am not sure what value they could bring to commentary on the Coronation itself.

They might provide behind the scenes tidbits about participants of course 'there's my brother William, he screamed at me once' etc

magicthree · 04/01/2023 03:44

If you don't want it talked about. If you don't want people to speculate. Then keep private and turn the cameras off.

This. If they want to air their dirty linen in public, or if they want to show off how "special" their relationship is, then they have to be prepared for the public to comment on it - and also be prepared that they might not like those comments.

Sugarfree23 · 04/01/2023 03:54

The Coronation must have Harry in a pickle. I think he'd really want to be part of the pomp and ceremony. But the swearing his allegiance to his father will have him in a knot.

He never really thought it through before selling his dirty Y fronts to Oprah & Netflix.

The Coronation is possibly the driving force behind the whole I want my father & brother back.

I hope you are right; nobody wants it ruined by MEEagain's tantrums. She can stay home and clean the 16 bathrooms. Not sure Hapless should attend because those "duke" promises would be lies. Besides he would need permission to be let off his leash😁

This will probably be H&M. They are co-dependent and neither will probably instigate a split but I can totally imagine them as Martha and George in a few years time (from Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf).

I can't see the marriage lasting.
If Charlie lives another 25 years, when William is king he will never accept Old Megsie because she is Trouble and when his children grow up, Hapless will not be needed

TBF Camilla hasn't really looked after herself what with a heavy smoking habit (now given up) for many decades and rumours of heavy drinking over decades as well if she dies early the Charles will truly be the heir of sorrows and may well want Harry back on any terms.

Whilst we live with a monarchy we are not a democracy.

Not true. You vote for the government.

There are lots of events, not just Royal ones that require couples to separate. And Royals regularly do, eg Trooping of the Colour and Remembrance Sunday when the non forces wives watch from a balcony.

Their joined at the hip and clinging on to each other is frankly sad. I find it truly pathetic. But yes, it will be a challenge for M to survive the Coronation without a hand to hold.

Oh I see. It's because Harry is part of the ceremony and that's why they're separated. I m sure Meghan will be fine as she stood on her own two feet before before they married.

"There are lots of events, not just Royal ones that require couples to separate."
There are lots of Non-Royal events where couples are separated - ie my DH and I once went to a Jewish wedding, and we were separated.

Slapper! She was a 17 year old girl who had been groomed and trafficked and he was a disgusting git for taking advantage. It was never acceptable. Decent blokes never took advantage of young girls. I'm not a republican but if abolishing the monarchy upset misogynistic dinosaurs like you, that would be a bonus.

It's fine. I misunderstood the previous quote.

When did Meghan have a tantrum at the funeral or jubilee. Considering she would have known that some of the population were gunning for her, she behaved really well.

Newwardrobe · 04/01/2023 07:21

I think Harry will attend the coronation but Meghan will come down with covid so won't be able to go.
