I agree, they clearly do care about the UK market, if he didn’t he wouldn’t have done an ITV interview, he would have kept in to the 60 mins with Anderson Cooper.
Although maybe it’s contractual to promote the book.
I have no idea

Have you not noticed that Empire days are done?

you can still get Empire Biscuits, though.

yum yum yum yum yum

Ooh I love them but I’ve never seen them in SE England where I now live. I must get some next time I’m up in Scotland.

TrashyPanda · 03/01/2023 11:39

I actually think Harry expresses it very well when he says he wants to be in a family not an institution

it’s never too late to tell this spoilt man-child ”I want never gets”

he has pushed his family away.
and now he wants them back - but on his terms.

at pushing 40, even dim-bulb Harry should realise relationships are a two-way thing.

time to play nicely, use kind words and learn to share, Harry

I’m quite partial to a Mint Imperial too

I genuinely think Harry thought that his family would have a lightbulb moment at some point during all his tell all revelations. I think he is so deluded he truly believes he is totally in the right and they have been wicked and cruel. I think all of this moaning and grandstanding has been an effort to get attention and an apology.
How he can believe that his family could ever trust him again or forgive him is mind boggling. He reminds me of someone who has been brainwashed by a cult. He is totally convinced of his own rightness and unable to see the bigger picture.
When the penny finally drops that there is no way back and he’s on his own , I really wonder what will happen.

I think it’s just that TM is a pal and he knows there won’t be any real challenge to his views.

I meant TB.

The Behaviour Panel analysis on the Netflix series is very interesting on all the body language tells, as well as really looking at what is said and how the message they are trying to get across doesn't chime with the words, hence the use of music and headlines in a leading and misleading way. They are going to have a good time analysing these latest interviews. Just from the preview clips, Harry's clearly has a sniffing habit.

The behaviour panel is a great watch. I love the way it’s a genuine discussion between four experts and they all listen to and respect each other’s opinions. I’ve just watched the video where they discuss M’s curtesy. They are quite damning of M.

Really? On another thread you seemed to acknowledge it was inspired by Roussette's username?

Aspiringmatriarch · 03/01/2023 12:17

Or it could have been this one, I've lost track tbh.

absolutelyincandescentwithrage · 03/01/2023 12:18

@Applesonthelawn You're so right about him not being photogenic! I find the book cover excruciating to look at as I think that photo has an uncanny resemblance to Raoul Moat, and now I've seen it I can never unsee it!

@Serenster - Spot on with your observations, agree wholeheartedly.

And I haven't written anything about H&M. My view is different but I'm not going there because I can see the way this thread is.

I have commented on someone registering a copy of my name. And commented on someone who disagrees with the majority being called a 'bot'.

I saw that. They changed one letter but it threw. Really creepy thing to do.

How interesting if you could share the key points that would be great!!

I agree with this.
Harry is not intelligent, and as such he is someone who is vulnerable to becoming easily convinced by people saying things that he would like to believe, or that reinforce his sense of himself as a wronged person.
He seems to have no capacity for critical thinking or self reflection, and comes across as a man who no one challenges, whose views are always agreed with.
The Shakespeare quote upthread was very apt !
He seems very unhappy and immature, for a middle aged man who supposedly has matured and found happiness.

A fellow body language panel fan! Yes, they pin the lot of them down. Can't wait for the the next offering.

Oh dear, you are surely projecting because that describes perfectly those who feast on Dailymail stories.

They seem to have gone now. Agree, very creepy behaviour.

Georgeskitchen · 03/01/2023 13:57

Does anyone actually realise that the present royal family are not responsible for the wrongdoing of their forefathers?
Does anyone realise that Britain is not the only nation that had an empire?
Does anyone realise that no country is obliged to remain in the Commonwealth?
How about protesting about the atrocities going on around the globe NOW, of which their are many, instead of rambling about the past which we can learn from, but cannot change?
Just remind me which nation was at the forefront of abolishing slavery.......oh wait, that was Great Britain was it not?

user1492757084 · 03/01/2023 14:07

Harry wants his father back!?? His father never left, Harry did and I doubt whether Harry will ever go back. Harry is no longer trustworthy. His father must be very worried and very sad.

clyspa · 03/01/2023 14:31

The point I think is they are not actually saying anything - they just insinuate

Someone said something racist about their child - who? What was said? What's the context?

My brother screamed at me - what did he say and what was the context?

Stories are planted - which stories specifically? What's your evidence?

The palace defend other royals but not us - give examples, which instances did you request/expect a statement to be issued about (unless he means everything which is just infeasible)

Also, the family have made no effort to reconcile - so the participation at Philips funeral, the jubilee, the queens passing and funeral, inclusion in Charles' first speech as monarch was all what?

BellePeppa · 03/01/2023 08:28

I’d be embarrassed to have that in my basket (I’d have to go through self-checkout). Buying that book is like having a sign over your head saying ‘I’m very gullible and have no critical thinking skills’.

How old are you? I can't imagine being embarrased about something so trivial and being so judgemental about what others want to read.
