I do hope it's Meghan doing most of the talking, she's rather bright and intelligent and well educated.

Harry on the other hand, is as dull as dishwater and as thick as two short planks academically.

He got a D in geography, and everyone knows geography a level is just colouring in and talking about populations. Could he not colour the sea in blue and the land in green on a map 🤣

I won't watch but just not too interested. I don't think it's an issue them having show like this...although it does seem like it will be full of buzzword around leadership, rather than subject matter experts, which would be better.

Talking about leadership reminds me of the Corporate world where the well connected man/woman has had their career smoothed so they rise to a reasonable level but have never had a bona fida leadership role. Post retirement they go on the speaking circuit. Isn't Boris doing similar??

Their original announcement was that they would be doing inspirational type programs for Netflix, so this seems to fit into that. Certainly more so than their truth. People can choose to watch or not watch. Don't see why it is an issue.

That's not fair, if she does most of the talking people will accuse her of being controlling and not letting Harry speak 😅. I reckon they'll go half and half.

I don’t like their behaviour so this one I won’t watch, I won’t boost them to success . My personal belief is anyone who doesn’t like their behaviour should boycott it and the media should stop reporting on it

im seriously impressed with Netflix and them though in terms of utter Ruthlessness , they’ve attacked the royal family knowing it will cause an outrage , and
they are cashing on on that outrage to rush this out in the hope folks will watch as it’s them,as they are front of mind right now,

This popped up while I was browsing Twitter.
Seems like this has been in the works a while, from the Nelson Mandela foundation and Blackwell & Ruth, and was originally supposed to be released in early 2022.
So Netflix have maybe partnered this up with H&M up to do some voice overs, but doesn’t seem like it was their initiative, or that they had anything to do with it originally?

My cousin who did geography at university worked for the UK Diplomatic corps and travelled the world, so not to be sniffed at 😀 she met some interesting people

My ds11 loves maps and does worldle every day and Santa is bringing him the planet board game so geography lovers in this house

THis is part 2 of that series and is called Live to Lead - created and directed by Geoff Blackwell based on a collaboration with Ruth Hobday in 2018. They have brought on H and M to be a voice over presenter of the series - they will be reading a script. The interview and series was already done.

If I was a leader being spoken about by H&M I'd be appalled! They've literally ripped their own families apart, yet fawn over people they either don't know or have very little to do with! But like inviting Hollywood to your wedding but no family!
They're grade A awful people ... just awful humans

Didn't the Mandela Foundation announce that they were in partnership with Archewell over a leadership project and that's why they invited Harry to speak at the UN? To generate publicity for the project.

Maybe this was the project and this is the partnership - H&M doing a voice over for them.

I thought I had read that H&M actually bought this and took it to Netflix. Maybe this is how Archewell got into partnership with the Mandela Foundation and how he got to address the UN?

Yup, production companies buy/fund projects.

I think it was made in 2019 and Archewell bought it after it was made. So they didn't produce it or create it.
Certainly Archewell was involved by this summer because that's how H got to give a speech to the UN - through Archewell becoming involved.
But maybe I misunderstood and I'm wrong.

They haven't claimed to, in fact its been made very clear who the series was conceived by in my articles i've seen, h&m are listed as executive producers.

Basically Executive producers provide the money 😅

Not very interesting (do we need yet another docu on Mandela etc. , wonderful statesman thought he was?), but a major step up from airing dirty linen on your relatives/in-laws, and to be fair Wills and Kate aren’t the most exciting couple either…..

Hopefully they will continue doing some more of this stolid/worthy stuff, and cringey family rows will start to die down.
