Right from the word go, Meghan and Harry were not telling the truth. About anything.

Now the Netflix series has come out it just proves it, over and over again.

What is your proof of this?

Do you have the whole Royal family. Do you know the history of the Royal family. The history of colonialism, corruption and child abuse. Do they care about the people they've hurt along the way?

I don’t think Meghan is as monstrous as some seem to think, but really - why do supporters have to be so die-hard? Never, ever do they think she puts a foot wrong. And what sticks in my mind is a poster the other week who wrote “gorgeous gorgeous girl” about a long-range blurry shot of Lilibet. Bizarre!! Why is she gorgeous? Is she gorgeous? How daft can you get.

I only remember seeing the photo of Lilibet on her first birthday and thought she was really cute but every other one has been blurred . Fair enough but I agree that saying gorgeous , gorgeous girl seems a bit OTT !

There are no "Meghan die hards". The most I've ever seen is posters who don't think Meghan is the literal devil. I'm certainly not a Meghan fan, I don't follow them, didn't listen to her podcast, didn't read Spare, didn't watch the Oprah special, but I still get treated like some fanpoodle just because I think the obsessive hate is insane.

If I saw any other celeb being treated this way I'd still speak out about it, nothing to do with how I feel about that celeb.

99% of the posts about Meghan are negative, since practically everyone who doesn't hate her has been bullied away. It's royal supporters who are the die-hards, they won't tolerate even the mildest criticism of William and Kate, even Andrew gets defended.

Why are you so offended at someone a forum for mums saying something nice about a BABY? Christ what kind of person takes offence at saying nice things about babies FFS.

I'm still waiting for an answer to whether my friends are evil liars for referring to their non-legal church wedding as "the day we got married."

And as for wedding guests there were dozens, hundreds of comments on threads over the years lying that Meghan didn't have a single friend at her wedding, or that there wasn't a single person at the wedding except Doria that Meghan had known before she was famous. All lies. Kate barely had any friends at her wedding and they invited people they didn't know as well, but that's never brought up. At least Meghan has friends. Does Kate even have one friend?

The future Queen needs to keep her circle small for one traditionally that's why they have ladies in waiting because they cannot trust their friends not to gossip

It's not the "secret ceremony" aspect for me for me its the whole "spectical" put down for people who went out waved flags celebrated their day paid for it out of their taxes for her to be so snide about it personally I found it rude uncalled for and unnecessarily spiteful those people were for the most part genuinely happy Harry had found his dream come true

I hardly think being girlfriend to the second in line precludes someone from having friends! Has Kate ever had close female friends, in school, university? Why so few friends at the wedding?

Yet Meghan's managed to maintain the same group of close friends and trusted confidantes since she was in university or just after she finished university. None of those friends have ever gossiped about her or ratted her out to the press.

As a casual observer of the royal family it's hard not to see the constant negative attacks on Meghan and if you dare defend her, then you are branded syncopathic or never wanting to admit that she has put her foot wrong. Apparently the saying that humans are not infallible does not apply to Meghan.

I have come to the conclusion that Royalist just enjoy picking her apart. They have decided that every aspect of her is bad and she should be ridiculed incessantly. Whether it's how she dresses, what she says, what she does, to them it's all bad. I can see why Jeremy Clarkson said what he said. Some of these people have a strong urge to humiliate and punish her, they feel that she got away too easy.

Why wpuld you take this so personally. Are you annoyed that Charles walked up the aisle knowing he didn't love Diana! Are you annoyed that Andrew and Fergie had a big wedding but only lasted a few years.

But they have clearly been caught out in lies, so who could believe anything else they say? A pair of deluded self important nobodies IMO. I don’t think it has been stated that she had no friends at the wedding . There were photos of women sitting quite close to Doria who were said to be long term friends . It was the lack of family members that caused comment . Not inviting her hideous step siblings was understandable but what about her uncle who secured a job for her ? What about her mother’s side ? Some of them are on record expressing disappointment that they weren’t invited .
The fact is that much of the speculation could have been avoided if they had had a quiet wedding rather than the eye wateringly expensive occasion that they wanted but which Meghan tried to dismiss as not the real thing. Talk about tone deaf !
As for W and C well their wedding was partly a State occasion with certain people who had to be invited however it is known that when William saw the guest list , he phoned the Queen to say that he wasn’t happy and she told him to write his own . Which they did . They both had lots of friends there if you care to do some research as well as a lot of Bucklebury residents .

Posters are insisting that referring to a non-legal vow exchange as a wedding makes you a liar, even though it's extremely common for people to have non-legal ceremonies they refer to as their wedding.

Either they think everyone who refers to a non-legal ceremony is an evil liar, or they're admitting to being a massive hypocrite.

The whole "Meghan didn't have a single friend at her wedding" lie was an ongoing theme on Mumsnet for months after the wedding.

As for Will and Kate, they had lots of friends at the wedding but they were al William's friends or couple friends. Were there any guests who were old friends of Kate as an individua separate from Williaml? Kate doesn't have a close group of female friends she's known for decades like Meghan. And no not everyone does, but enough posters have attacked Meghan via the lie that she doesn't have any friends, it's reasonable to point out not only is it a lie, but it's hypocritical since Meghan does have friends, but Kate doesn't seem to.
