Last thread has filled up so I thought I'd create another to chat trailers and teasers while we hang about waiting for better more truth bombs to drop in the main event.

They put in a clip of Piers Morgan praising them as rock stars 😆 he’s going to be so mad 🥳

Ha. So good. Piers loves her. 😂😂😂

William, the nasty little bastard.

Here's the slum that is Nottingham Cottage: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/05/20/nottingham-cottage-kensington-home-meghan-harry-will-live-married/

How they must have suffered.

They never said it was a slum.

I compare it to the other residences of members of the RF. Very different. I'm seeing the footage in Ep1 now. It's really quite ordinary.

I expect to get attacked for this comment but I liken it to Andrew and his ex living on a massive Estate (30 rooms, 98 acres)

I interpret this ‘lie’ as they put something out there which he didn’t agree to (Contrary to them saying it was a joint statement) and therefore they lied as he hadn’t said either/or. Effectively they put words into his mouth, which is a lie.

I bet Harry wasn't complaining when royal press officers sent out re leases and quotes that made him look good.

'I don't buy it. I think she wanted to change it / rescue it. I think she wanted to go in on her terms'

Absolutely, the pair of the wanted do do their own thing and they weren't allowed. That's where all their bile and vitriol stems.

There's another alternative, which is that she never intended to stay.

LisaJool · 15/12/2022 10:04

@Roussette Kate and Wills also lived there when they got married, it's not as if they were given a mansion and Harry wasn't.

BreadInCaptivity · 15/12/2022 10:06

But better comparisons would be W&C who also lived in Nott Cott or Eugenie who also lived in a cottage on the grounds of KP before moving to Frog Cott.

PA was the Queens son and a different generation.

I’m keeping updated by the BBC live summary.

Honestly, love their snark about how small and cramped Nottigham Cottage is 😆

But people love houses that are slightly wonky. It’s called “character”. It’s old ffs. Harry must have come across wonky buildings before. We have plenty of them in this country and certainly the Royal Palaces come in to this category. It think this highlights a major issue - Meghan finds everything in the UK too small and not shiny and new. She made little or no effort to assimilate into the family or country she had married in to. I’m not saying she had to completely subsume her personality or desires, but she could at least recognise that there would be differences and many things would probably not be done her way. She is very dismissive of a while country’s culture and traditions. That’s why I also don’t buy them living in SA or Canada in the long term. It seems to me that only US culture is acceptable to them now.

More from BBC live feed:

“As episode four continues, Harry is speaking candidly about his popularity as a royal.

He says: "When someone who should be a supporting act is stealing the job or doing the job better than someone who's born to do this, that upsets people, or shifts the balance."

wow. Just wow.

Ohnonevermind · 15/12/2022 10:08

So much for protecting their kids, happy to show them if the price is right. That was one thing I did admire about them. Oh well

Rinoachicken · 15/12/2022 10:09

Also showing footage of the panorama interview.

ArcaneWireless · 15/12/2022 10:09

I have said it on other threads and I still believe the same.

It would have all been acceptable if H had been the first born. The thing said above ‘doing the job W was born to do?’ - was that actually said?

It sounds bitter and jealous. And cruel.

There will be more anguish caused by the documentary/book than by his family in the long run.

I wish they hadn’t done this for so many reasons. What may have been meant to be cathartic now has the potential to be damaging to them.

And altering the late Queen’s speech? Why do that? Who is going to want them in their inner circle if nothing is sacred and words can be twisted or omitted to change the meaning?

It is a shame.

Where are you seeing the kids? Barely seen them in Ep 1-3. Nothing in 4 so far. We've only ever seen the back of Archie's head or a glimpse in the distance

Prescottdanni123 · 15/12/2022 09:42

I did laugh at Harry's comment about William and Kate being angry because they were stealing the limelight and that Harry was better at doing the job that William was born to do. Yeah right. There's the proof that the little brat is jealous that he wasn't born first.

And herein lies the real reason for them leaving. They weren't getting the fawning attention that they felt they deserved. Everything else they say is trying to dress this up as more.

sixtiesbaby88 · 15/12/2022 10:10

Apparently Nottingham Cottage was also William and Kate's first marital home

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 15/12/2022 09:53

Any evidence, any accountability or self awareness? Or is all just waah waaah waaah.

The latter so far. I just think it's all such a shame. They are a healthy, wealthy couple with lovely children and access to resources and opportunities most of us can only dream of. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of success.

So much this.

ArcaneWireless · 15/12/2022 10:11

Covetthee · 15/12/2022 10:11

All of the stuff they are saying is absolutely crap and they know it, the bullying, the ‘firm’
etc that they keep moaning about, how comes it didn’t seem to bother them when they wanted to be ‘influencer royals’ and monetise their titles (as he so confirmed that what the meeting was about) but once that option was not on the table, their moaning and victimisation started. They are bitter and it clearly shows.

Mumsnut · 15/12/2022 10:12

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester lived there as well.

Oh wow did he say that? Not seen the film. Sounds like classic Princess Margaret!

Yes - direct quote from Harry - episode 4

Ohnonevermind · 15/12/2022 10:13

As Kevin from motherland would put it, ‘they’ve fucked themselves, they’ve fucked themselves right up the …..’

Mumsnut · 15/12/2022 10:14

I think we need a nationwide poll on that. Harry might be quite surprised by the results

I've seen the back of Archie running in the distance, and him and Lili as a tiny little newborn, is that what you mean
