Last thread has filled up so I thought I'd create another to chat trailers and teasers while we hang about waiting for better more truth bombs to drop in the main event.

In what way can he attack him?

Vague innuendo? He could say 'well I never saw anything but who knows?' As I said above, H and M had someone filming them whilst Meghan read the Queen's statement after OW. He then looks at his phone and shows it to M and she says that Harry's brother has just texted him and they both look serious. No comment on what the text said.

WTF are we supposed to gather from that? More innuendo, no substance (unless he intends to tell all in the book). William might have been texting him about the football results for all we know. But it was set up and filmed for some reason. It's all bollocks. Some of the press stuff is true and horrible but that has been lost in the fluffy set up bollocks.

After settling into her seat, Meghan claims the head of the plane crew knelt down next to her and gave her some encouraging words.

She explained: 'He took his hat off and I just remember looking at him.

'And he goes, "we appreciate everything you did for our country.

I suppose it was either that or dance in the streets, but seeing that they had an aircraft to fly they settled for the simple words.

How beautiful.

In what way can he attack him?

Andrew's never been prosecuted and he paid off Virginia Giuffre. So surely anything he says will be hearsay and tittle-tattle unless Andrew ever admitted anything in private.

I have no idea but people were asking why he didn't, I think whatever he could say about Andrew would hurt his cousins who he seems close to. I assume he wouldn't want to hurt them regardless of what he knows or doesn't know about Andrew.

I think MM demonstrates many of these traits and ticks at least 5 of the required criteria - but what stands out for me particularly is this preoccupation / fantasy with “ideal love” as a criteria - the need to convince the world that their love is more pure and special than anyone else’s - just delusional.

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) describes NPD as possessing at least five of the following nine criteria.[2]

A grandiose sense of self-importance

Preoccupation with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love

Believing that they are "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)

Requiring excessive admiration

A sense of entitlement (unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with their expectations)

Being interpersonally exploitative (taking advantage of others to achieve their own ends)

Lacking empathy (unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others)

Often being envious of others or believing that others are envious of them

Showing arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

GloomyDarkness · 15/12/2022 14:35

And he goes, "we appreciate everything you did for our country.

I'm not sure what she thinks she did do for the country.

I think one of the many problems was as a US citizen she didn't get there was a duty aspect and there were expectations rather than it just being a celebrity.

Though recent press suggested Queen wasn't against her continuing her career and them living quietly before the big tax payer paid for wedding - so I don't know what they really wanted in first place.

bakalava · 15/12/2022 14:36

My explanation is that the pilot was Canadian!

His often have you met Meghan in your role as clinical psychologist?

😂

She endured a £30million wedding she didn't want don't you know.
She was forced to wear hundreds of thousands of pounds of expensive clothing she never wanted.
She was forced to live in free, luxurious accommodation which she hated as well.
What a saint.

And she didn’t get to wear the tiara she wanted.

as Harry said “what Meghan wants, Meghan gets”

except the Queen disagreed. And it was her tiara.

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 15/12/2022 14:39

The text message arriving from William, if its contents were not to be revealed immediately, at least deserved some Eastenders style cliffhanger ending 'doof doofs' ...

Disappointed!

mnenomic · 15/12/2022 14:19

Harry said his wife reminds him of his mother. He's now also said that Archie reminds him of Meghan and Lilibet reminds him of Diana. Harry is seeing Diana in every member of his family - that does not seem psychologically healthy.

Complex grief and trauma - the incomplete yearning, projecting, seeking and loss that drives and skews his emotional perspective.

He is v vulnerable - it’s sad to see especially as he could work to resolve this with professionals rather than bring this trauma to impact intergenerationally on his own children.

I think they both do! 😳

F4chrissakes · 15/12/2022 14:41

They state that Tyler Perry, a friend - whom they had never met - offered his house for them to stay when they left Canada. How can a person be a friend when you've never met them?
They say that Jason Kaufman could not have submitted his statement to the court re the letter to her father without his "principal's knowledge and approval". William is the principal in question. This bodes well for the Wales and Sussexes kissing and making up, don't it?

FlyingNorth · 15/12/2022 14:42

I think that's what they were aiming for - the next (tedious) instalment will be, "people are always asking me what that text said, and at the time I didn't want to throw William under the bus, but since you KEEP asking and we need some more money this is what it said ..."

diddl · 15/12/2022 14:42

He’s implying that the Queen was happy to meet him, but an advisor/private secretary/whoever, decided it wasn’t a good idea so made sure her diary was ‘busy’.

Ah of course, "them"??

mnenomic · 15/12/2022 14:43

I think what Meghan and Harry disliked most of all was being forced to meet the populace and very occasionally being put face-to-face with real opinions.

So it turns out that two ladies in Liverpool told her that she was treating her dad badly while doing a walkabout and M couldn't handle it. Other royals are not immune to this (see Charles being egged, Andrew booed).

I honestly believe that at the end of the day, they wanted out of the handshaking and walkabouts with Joe Public because they were too highly sensitive to what ordinary people might have mentioned to their faces, as they only like presenting 'Their Truth' and 'Their Story' when it is tightly curated.

loislovesstewie · 15/12/2022 14:43

Wonder who owns the tiara now? Was it the queen's personal property?

mnenomic · 15/12/2022 14:44

The only way I would ever gain back some respect for M&H is if they put themselves in front of a real interviewer and a live interview, to be questioned and challenged. Not all this promo bollocks.

Happtimescoming · 15/12/2022 14:45

I might be a bit ahead of you, and as much as I hate the daily mail, I am cringing a little bit when Harry says that Megs miscarriage was probably caused by what the tabloids did to her. Obviously it’s heartbreaking that she had a miscarriage (I have had two early miscarriages and it’s awful) but reading online - I’ve done a lot! The evidence is that stress does NOT cause miscarriage. She was 39 so sadly maybe more to do with her age? I hope this doesn’t cause a lot of people who’ve been in stressful situations and had miscarriages start to blame themselves and others 😭

Blip · 15/12/2022 14:45

@mnenomic I agree M did seem unusually sensitive to the remark about her treatment of her father. People will have different opinions about this kind of thing but she was clearly unable to shrug it off and continue.

electricmoccasins · 15/12/2022 14:46

miri1985 · 15/12/2022 12:22

I don't think the plane thing is beyond belief. People say nonsense like that all the time to famous people with the hope it will make them like them. The difference is that most famous people would have the sense to spot that its bullshit and also the self awareness not to repeat what was said

MM believes this was a heartfelt, sincere moment. She’s massively misunderstood British politeness and manners here.

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 15/12/2022 14:47

I'm not sure what she thinks she did do for the country.

Well, examples I've seen so far are giving the UK it's first ever black prince and also for championing the Grenfell community in a way that no royal had ever done before as they were Muslim women from ethnic minorities.

What a saint.

Didn't they say that the small garden "wedding" was more in keeping with what they would have liked?

I'm sure no one was pushing for them the have a big wedding & carriage ride & they could have had a small wedding if they'd wished.

Perhaps with M being divorced that might have been preferred by the RF?

I mean if they truly thought that they had to have a big wedding for "our" sake I think that that shows some level of delusion!

Peasepuddingbloodycold · 15/12/2022 14:49

Episode 5 guided meditation scene. I'm speechless.

That is how she makes it up as she goes along and it is sadly very, very common for aspiring actors from around that area. They borrow stills and life details from those who have made it big and style themselves identically to create these mental associations.

That is why she copied the Julia Roberts Pretty Woman stills in the first trailer, the John and Yoko in the second and even in her main Archetypes promo shot, Chilli from TLC (Scrubs video intro).

There are established terms for all of these things but all I will say is that either Haitch stays in an trance in her thrall forever or he will wake up inside a horrific crash. Sedated and therapized may be easier for him.

@bakalava - this is interesting, can you explain what you mean by her copying Julia Robers, Yoko & TLC?

By pictures? Or the way she was talking?
