Last thread has filled up so I thought I'd create another to chat trailers and teasers while we hang about waiting for better more truth bombs to drop in the main event.

@Aspiringmatriarch That's a good take, you're spot on. I have half of the last episode to go.

'Because their plans were leaked by the Sun, via Dan Wootton/Knauf I believe

They had no choice'

They had plenty of choice. They could have not released anything until they'd spoken to Harry's family to see what was possible. Without confirmation or denial where were the Sun going to go with it? And would it have mattered anyway?

To have a public proclamation made by Harry and Meghan of what they were going to do with no consultation with anyone else was bound to cause issues, especially the half in half out bit. They went off half cocked and there were consequences.

My apologies. I think the post I was responding to was deleted and I clicked on yours by mistake. The one that upset me was
, sorry if this brings the mental health mourners out in an attack of the vapors but I think there was about as much chance of Meghan killing herself as giving her Netflix fee to charity, sorry if this brings the mental health mourners out in an attack of the vapors but I think there was about as much chance of Meghan killing herself as giving her Netflix fee to charity

I don't think the plane thing is beyond belief. People say nonsense like that all the time to famous people with the hope it will make them like them. The difference is that most famous people would have the sense to spot that its bullshit and also the self awareness not to repeat what was said

Thank you. Careful about agreeing with me though, you'll have the conspiracy theorists up in arms again! 😁

Coxspurplepippin · 15/12/2022 12:23

Rockybooboo, no worries - I didn't think it was a particularly controversial comment Grin

bakalava · 15/12/2022 12:24

She endured a £30million wedding she didn't want don't you know.
She was forced to wear hundreds of thousands of pounds of expensive clothing she never wanted.
She was forced to live in free, luxurious accommodation which she hated as well.
What a saint.

OhmygodDont · 15/12/2022 12:25

I mean sometimes just sometimes if everyone else in the whole of your family and all your friends are the “problem” maybe just maybe the problem is you 😅. He just whines a lot and she does seem to think she somehow worked some amazing wonders for the U.K. and royal family without doing much.

I think his always been an angry spoilt man but it was covered up and cleaned up as much as could be by the royals and press in exchange for other things. Nobody unless seriously unwell goes from a happy happy chats with the press etc to angry at the whole world. This who Megan Diana thing isn’t healthy either, she’s not Diana and he can’t live his life roleplaying as if his wife is Diana.

For every story maybe planted about them in exchange for a nasty story about someone else being stopped will of been exactly what happened when Harry was out causing chaos in his younger years and likely covering up a angry short tempered man at the cost of other royals too. It’s how it works.

superdupernova · 15/12/2022 12:27

Have they said anything about the Andrew scandal? I haven't seen it reported. It would be an interesting omission. Of all the criticisms of the royal family that one would be the most understandable.

I've come to the conclusion that it's folie a deux, they seem to be in a bubble where everyone else is wrong, they perceive things in a different way to everyone else and they encourage each other in the stupidity. They need psychiatric help.

Yup. She's flexing and he's deep into oedipal territory.

After settling into her seat, Meghan claims the head of the plane crew knelt down next to her and gave her some encouraging words.

She explained: 'He took his hat off and I just remember looking at him.

'And he goes, "we appreciate everything you did for our country."'

Discussing the emotional impact it had on her, Meghan continued: 'It was the first time that I felt like someone saw the sacrifice. Not for my own country, for this country. It's not mine.'

I think Meghan should be awarded the Victoria Cross for her service to our country. She really is the gift that keeps on giving.

Bloody hell. That is just... Kanye West levels of delusion.

Just coming back to a point; if Dan Wooton/Jason Knauf leaked the Megxit terms before the palace knew of them, who told Dan Wooton? The palace can't have leaked if they didn't yet know.

SnottyLottie · 15/12/2022 12:30

They shared a clip from her wedding speech

”they would love and garden and travel and laugh and rack up more air miles than any couple could have"

Again, they set themselves up for this. Everyone knows they’re all for saving the environment but people will accuse them of being hypocrites and “one rule for them, another rule for us”

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 15/12/2022 12:30

the everlasting knowing that, above all, love wins

Apparently not the love between siblings.

Have they said anything about the Andrew scandal?

I wondered that. The BBC feed seems to jump around a lot from episode to episode and it hasn't been mentioned.

No. And so they shouldn't. If A's two brothers and sister have not said a word why should his nephew speak out.
It would only get criticism anyway

MistletoeandBaileys · 15/12/2022 12:31

I don’t for one second think Meghan has come across poorly in this documentary at all.

I think Harry on the other hand has come across so badly. The way in which they speak about the Queen also seems really manipulative. They know how popular she is. It’s like they played up to that. They are also aware of how unpopular Charles has been! And played into that.

Whatever has gone on with William we will never know but I reckon it’s a case of for the first time in history Harry actually heard the word No. And he didn’t like it.

I can’t see Meghan sticking with him in the long run and when that happens I can’t see William welcoming him back to the UK with open arms.

As for the opinion polls I’m not sure they care. His life is America now. As he said himself. Having the UK opinion polls show him losing popularity only feeds into their narrative of the big bad UK hates us complex.

I wonder will they be at the coronation? Seen as it is Archie’s birthday.

adriftabroad · 15/12/2022 12:32

People with (proper, diagnosed, not "my ex DP/MIL is a narc") NPD: narcissitic personality disorder. (often originating from early childhood trauma) have a grandiose idea of themselves, specifically their public persona. They lack object constancy and cannot retain relationships or take any perceived criticim.

They gaslight everyone, but the important point is they gaslight themselves. They genuinely BELIEVE their own lies.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 15/12/2022 12:33

If A's two brothers and sister have not said a word why should his nephew speak out.

Because they never complain never explain. H's clearly not confined by that rule so he CAN speak out.

Roussette · 15/12/2022 12:12

I have apologised for misreading what you said. And already apologised if you felt bullied.

I will apologise again. Now.

I'm sorry. I got it wrong. It was fast moving and I misunderstood. I hope you can accept this

Thank you

smilesy · 15/12/2022 12:34

Roussette · 15/12/2022 12:10

Why am I putting words in your mouth when you said this

"No he didn’t say that in so many words, but logically, he must be implying that they are the best for the top job after the Queen"

Sorry, I meant that to explain that particular interpretation of what he had said. I wasn’t very clear. I cannot claim to know what he meant as I have said.

Agree it’s delusional and grandiose - more undignified cringe.

It reminds me of the Mandela comment - where the source couldn’t be found.

But this would be pretty easy verify I would think.

Glindara · 15/12/2022 12:36

I am interested in the niece - it seems that they were not in contact from before the wedding (she didn’t get an invite) until the making of this documentary ….. is that how others perceived it?

bakalava · 15/12/2022 12:37

It is not even about whether it was said. It is more problematics that she needs to report it to others in a documentary. It feels like she is looking up every so often hoping to spot the Diana halo drop from the sky and fall onto her head. The problem is that nobody is buying the Diana comparison at all. They were simply nothing like each other.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 15/12/2022 12:38

OOohhh so what did William text Harry after Meghan read the Queen's post OW interview statement?

Roussette · 15/12/2022 12:39

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 15/12/2022 12:33

If A's two brothers and sister have not said a word why should his nephew speak out.

Because they never complain never explain. H's clearly not confined by that rule so he CAN speak out.

So you think a nephew of Andrew should speak out, and A's siblings should never say a word.
I think he really should not speak out about it. It's all too horrific and needs a Palace line.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 15/12/2022 12:40

I think people would have more respect for Harry if he did speak out.

HairyToity · 15/12/2022 12:42

I don't think he'll diss Andrew. The only one he gets on with in the RF is Eugenie. He surely can't diss her dad.
