I hug family or friends but not when I first meet them. That would seem very fake to me

Even on RHOBH (REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS) which I realise is trashy TV - there is a definite shake hands when first introduced to other people even other friends of friends and then hug on future meetings so I think Meghan is more of the fake hugs to everyone even when you first meet them than others in BH

William and Kate must both be hyper-aware that whatever happens behind closed doors can become public knowledge forever in one short conversation with a journalist. Don't they have a close circle of loyal friends who don't talk to anyone in the media? (I find them almost wilfully bland and boring in public - they look pretty, they speak in banalities, they seem perfectly pleasant and we have no idea what they're really like as people.) I know Harry was smitten beyond words with Meghan but she was a total stranger with an interest in self-promotion, because she couldn't have known at that stage that she would end up married to him. I'd have been standing well back too, if I was William or Kate, and I think it's a weird thing to have an issue with so many years later. 'It took a while to get to know them' is normal, and very different from 'I was warm and huggy and they were cold and distant'. The constant self-dramatisation is exhausting, from both Meghan and Harry. Awful things happen to people all the time; not getting on with your in-laws is a Mumsnet thread, not a reason to be canonised as a martyr.

I cannot imagine.anyone meeting the future king and queen in her bare feet. In fact I can't imagine meeting anyone like that.
She's too old to turn out like a teenage girl . I thought the same when I saw the clips from their documentary. The montage of her and Harry was obviousl trying to make them look fun and youthful and well - teenage. She's in her forties for God's sake.

Meghan is taking the piss in the scene where she reenacts bowing to the queen, she's smirking her best smirk. Harry smiles at her like a zombie😱. I fear that when Harry realises all that he has done, he will be in a very dark place, for that I feel sorry. This is not how normal people behave.

I can't imagine King Charles or William ever forgiving Meghan for such mockery or Harry for stabbing them all in the back. It takes a certain type to stab their own family in the back publicly.
