What is the end result of all this? They've ruined all their familial relationships apart from Doria. The prestigious people who they want to associate with won't touch them with a barge pole. Well presumably they've made enough money from it (after the book as well of course) to not have to worry about needing anything from any celebrity. They could become recluses for a few years because that makes every appearance precious to the media. So long as they stay together as a couple they'll be fine.
