It's landed - 3 episodes with what I assume is 3 next week.

We have not heard from "Jess" who Meghan was whispering to. It was the mane Jess, wasn't it? They would nave been really close, for Meghan to call her in moment like this. I suppose she doesn't want the publicity though.

They got engaged twice? They're a very complicated couple.

Isn't Jess Jessica Mulroney who was involved in that race row. Maybe that's why she hasn't been included? They are close, though. It was her daughter that it was claimed was being favoured over all the other bridesmaids at her wedding.

I don't think they got engaged twice but for some reason they seem to enjoy misleading the public/press about major events like marriage (they apparently got married 3 days before we thought they did) giving birth (BP said Meghan had gone into labour when she was actually already back home with baby) and then this confusion over the engagement. I find it a bit odd, I sort of understand why they might want to keep big things secret (although that seems petty and a bit unrealistic if you're in the RF) but why then tell everyone as if to say ha ha, see we got one over you. Just keep it a secret between the two of you.

Mind you we've still got volumes (how pretentious) 4-6 to go. How meanies granny and papa cast them adrift into penury in the middle of winter. Volume 4 - how will we feed Archie?

Yes I know. I do now think it's all about the money. Unless there are bombshells about the RF in episodes 3-6 really all M and H are doing is revealing secrets about themselves and personally I don't know why they don't see how that is damaging their reputation. The justification seems to be to pay for security for the family, but I think that's just to try to justify trashing Harry's family.

I think continually putting themselves in the news
just opens them up to criticism and scrutiny. The very things they seem to be so thin skinned about. If they have security worries, why would you poke the hornets nest? I know it’s for money, but surely there are other ways to make money than this? It’s so undignified.

Those wheeled out for Netflix were ones I'd mostly never heard of, but what happened to Oprah, the Clooneys, the Obamas, etc, etc?

It’s their Story , I don’t see where the Obamas or Clooneys fit in,
I was listing to Bethenny Frankle reel this morning and she makes some very valid points about them as a couple .

-Harry mentioned how none of his girlfriends wanted this life , Meghan knew and wanted it all,

-she wanted to have a leading role in the RF and that role was taken by Kate.

i really think Meghan is very savvy and very smart and has a clear idea of the life she wanted , and when she saw that it’s not happening what do they do ? Leave and create as much as Drama as possible to monetise it later on.

Not savvy enough to do any basic research apparently. It was also abundantly obvious that Kate was going to be senior to her. She just wanted the kudos if it all and couldn’t see beyond that. It was like landing a major role but she didn’t think beyond what she would be paid.

I suggest that those incensed by the last 3 episodes don't go and look at the second trailer for the next 3 episodes.

They have had valid things to say and I think these have been lost in amongst the inevitable criticism/scrutiny.

They may find their splendid isolation is not what they hoped for.

Actually it’s made my day Rousette I needed a laugh after an exasperating work morning, it’s really become very amusing now, institutional gaslighting, makes a change from institutional racism I guess.

This reminds me of the time a mother at the school gates (someone I barely knew) tried to strike up a conversation by telling me unpleasant gossip about one of the other mothers.

All she achieved was to make me empathise with the victim of her nastiness - who ended up becoming a good friend, and I avoided the gossip whenever possible thereafter.

Harry & Meghan are more deluded than I ever imagined if they think this will sway public sympathies their way. What a pair!

How bloody tedious is the gunning for Kate and William. They should take the advice from one of those sparkling memes which they love posting: trying to put out the light of another person won't make your own light shine any brighter.

I don't understand what she meant by not just throwing them to the wolves, they were fed to the wolves. What do wolves normally do when things are thrown to them? Or is the implication that if you're 'only' thrown to the wolves you stand a chance of escaping? It's mad, all mad and I'm mad to even give this any time but I am starting to find bits of it quite funny.
