So does anyone know anything about Earthshot finalists? William and Kate went to Boston because of Earthshot, but all aI have read about is what Kate and William have done in Boston and what Kate is wearing. Why are the press not covering what Earthshot is actually about?

Given that none of the award nominees were present either this year or last year, the big trip to Boston and all the associated hoohah is even more baffling than it appeared at first glance.

Why not stay home and invite some TV crew to Norfolk to do the show?

It was a reality TV show taping according to the Boston Globe.

One of the winners was from the U.K. they stood in a large group in front of tower bridge. So didn’t fly over to Boston either.
hones the earth shot prize which basically seems a pretty good initiative is a weird thing to take aim at because you don’t like William.
not flying the hundreds of nominees for the 5 prizes seems a very sensible thing to do for an environmental competition and like a pp said worked really well in the studio and show cased the winners really well

Surely it would have made more sense if they ALL stayed home. Why fly Beckham in to present a prize to attendees that weren't even there, make it make sense 😅

That would be too sensible .
Earthshot is a vanity project for William with the main aim of green washing his environmental hypocrisy.

It's a bit like the queues to file past the queens casket . It could easily have been booked online with timed slots like every thing else these days
But MUH OPTICS ! Much much better to show the long cold queue
