I've seen a clip on Instagram where a group of women completely blanked MM when she spoke to them. It was awful to watch.
I feel so sorry for her, she didn't deserve that at all.
I saw another clip where someone had asked her for a hug, she obliged and when they hugged she really held the member of public and closed her eyes, it looked as if she really needed that hug .
No wonder she ran away from the UK

Well, some people feel that both Harry and Meghan have insulted and disrespected our country. You may not agree with that but it is nonetheless how they feel and it appears they are reluctant to kill the fatted calf for them now they are here.
Actions have consequences, I guess.

There’s leaving the UK and there’s leaving the uk and going on Oprah to accuse them of all sorts knowing they cannot reply. I think you’ll find her reception was more to do with her choices after leaving the uk, not what caused her to leave.

There are some who dislike Megan because she refused to accept bullying. I say good for her. California is much nicer than England.

People don’t like her because she constantly slags off the royal family and caused the D of E and the Queen a lot of heartache in their last years. She may be completely accurate in her representation and entitled to do it, but don’t expect the people who respect the Queen enough to travel to London to pay their respects to be happy with your choices.

also asking a member of the public for a hug is just weird and needy.

When did she do this?

I don't really like Meghan, but at the moment, nothing she does will be right. If she turns up, she's muscling in and who does she think she is. If she doesn't show up, she's disrespectful and doesn't care about the family. It's an awkward place to be.

And she didn't ask a member of the public for a hug...they asked her.

Oh ffs just leave her be.

Learn to read, a girl in the crowd asked Meghan to hug her and Meghan did.

Did you see the protection officers constantly scanning the crowd for threats, watching their hand movements closely, watching their faces? It really hit home how vulnerable anyone famous / royal is to a lone nutcase, as Princess Anne actually said in the 1970!

She didn't ask for a hug, member of the public asked her. Would help if you read the thread properly!
There was no excuse for such bitchy behaviour.
MM left because she refused to be bullied by the racist British media, and bullied by the Royal family.

Well that’s just bullying and pathetic playground behaviour from those women 🙄 ugh. I can just imagine the type of women that would do that.

@complexdebate no I'm not actually. Just another person who can see how MM is being vilified by the UK

I really liked her and was so excited at their wedding but her and Harry's indiscreet and rude actions ( which must have caused real grief to the Queen) have turned me off. I wouldn't shake her hand either.

Too bad they couldn't have controlled themselves until the Queen died. They want to have their cake and eat it, too.

She's been pretty rude to a lot of other people. You reap what you sow.

The crowd were royal fans so it's not surprising that some wouldn't be happy to see a person who had slagged off their idols on multiple occasions.

M did well not to react.

Blanking her? Wow that's beyond rude! Meghan can't win, can she? Whatever she does people love having a pop at her.
I saw the hug and it was a lovely gesture. Megan didn't have to accept the hug but she did anyway! Good for her
