I've seen a clip on Instagram where a group of women completely blanked MM when she spoke to them. It was awful to watch.
I feel so sorry for her, she didn't deserve that at all.
I saw another clip where someone had asked her for a hug, she obliged and when they hugged she really held the member of public and closed her eyes, it looked as if she really needed that hug .
No wonder she ran away from the UK

I feel for Meghan and Harry. His grandfather, father and brother have all been unfaithful to their wives. He wants to do things differently he wants to be a traditional family unit, he wants to be able to hold his wife's hand whenever he likes in public, he wants to be able to hug people and be warm and real with people. Sure they haven't dealt with everything perfectly, but can any of us hand on heart say we could deal with what they have dealt with? Kate Middleton came from a loving supportive family which has given her the support to deal with the crazy life she has married in to. Have you seen Meghan's family? What kind of support are they? Selling her story, disrespecting her in the press. Plus all the briefing from the palaces PR teams against them.
Meanwhile, Prince Andrew, suspected sex offender, will get to wear his uniform during the mourning period even though he too is a non working royal????
What do we find more unpalatable as a nation?? What does that say about us?

It’s all down to her colour, deny it as much as you want.
Kate will never do wrong in peoples eyes as she is the archetypal princess.
Leave Meghan alone.
People make all these assumptions like there facts about the Royals. None of you know the truth only they do.
it’s not Eastenders!

i dont give a shit if shes green purple or blue shes slagged them off far too much

3peassuit · 12/09/2022 13:36

I’m no fan but if she had offered her hand I would have shaken it. That was a day to show grace on all sides.

No, it's down to her incredibly petulant behaviour.

Samcro · 12/09/2022 13:37

some people have no class. to ignore her is pain rude.

Well, some people feel that both Harry and Meghan have insulted and disrespected our country. You may not agree with that but it is nonetheless how they feel and it appears they are reluctant to kill the fatted calf for them now they are here.
Actions have consequences, I guess.

This exactly expresses how I feel.

Utter shite
I wasn’t keen on Diana and her antics either. Do I hate all white people?

Meseekslookatme · 12/09/2022 13:25

This to be honest
I was indifferent until that bullshit (and some of it has been proven to be bullshit)
interview.

The silly “Whoppers” she is capable of telling puts people off-
The chap who allegedly said people in SA were dancing in the streets when Harry married her-
He denies it.
Plus saying they were married in private- implying that the spectacle paid for by the British Taxpayers was just a sham.
People now scrutinise everything she says-
As with Andrew.

ClaireEclair · 12/09/2022 13:41

The DM and certain Twitter users are relentless. I might not agree with some of the claims Meghan has made but I respect her and only want happiness for her and Harry. The hatred towards her is bizarre.

Lesserspotteddogfish · 12/09/2022 13:42

Rude and nasty. I couldn’t bring myself to blank someone, no matter how much I disliked them, it would feel so cringingly awful.

Xenia · 12/09/2022 13:42

No one should be rude to anyone. MM appears to have made public lie after lie including that she married 3 days before the royal wedding and has chosen to make money from a royal family she and Harry seem to want to leave so obviously is not going to be miss popular but that does not excuse people being rude.

If she wants to start to make up for her conduct I think she should start with a visit in private to her father who wants to see her, won't last long and has an open door waiting for her. Then most on to her half siblings.

It's really not.

Porcupineintherough · 12/09/2022 13:43

I reckon a good 90% plus is down to her skin colour. A lot of racists around determined to put a negative slant on anything and everything she does, to the point of misreading the things people write in order to snipe at her.

Indifferent59 · 12/09/2022 13:44

She is a dignified, beautiful lady. It all boils down to being jealous, that's why these people are derogatory. You will never hear a nice word about her, due to these type of public individuals.

Damnautocorrect · 12/09/2022 13:46

I really dislike her and Harry’s behaviour since leaving.
and I think that woman was in her right to blank her. She didn’t have to shake her hand unless she wanted too. The lady didn’t go there to meet or heckle the Sussex’s. She went to pay her respects to the queen. It’s not bullying not to want to.

Calling her a bitch however, is terrible and no one should be subjected to that at this time.

however, the people saying she can’t win right now are right. Nothing she can do will be right. I just hope their presence stops over shadowing the proceedings. It should be about the queen not the rights and wrongs of what they are up to

Damnautocorrect · 12/09/2022 13:46

I didn’t even realise she was a woman of colour until Harry put that statement out about racial abuse

butterflied · 12/09/2022 13:47

I don't give a shit about skin colour. She has slagged the RF off for years and is all "me, me, me". She went too far with the Mandela thing. People are calling out her lies.

Actions have consequences.

Georgeskitchen · 12/09/2022 13:47

The media were awful to Kate when she and William were dating.
Camilla had to endure some horrific treatment from the press when everything became public.
They bore it quietly and never complained, never explained. Now they have earned the respect of the people (most of them)but it took a long time.
William tried to persuade Harry to take things at a slower pace with Meghan and ease her into the role but he kicked off and that's what started the rift. It all went downhill from there unfortunately

antelopevalley · 12/09/2022 13:47

PeekAtYou · 12/09/2022 12:45

The crowd were royal fans so it's not surprising that some wouldn't be happy to see a person who had slagged off their idols on multiple occasions.

M did well not to react.

Funny how they forget how Charles criticised the Queen saying she was a poor parent.

doubleshotcappuccino · 12/09/2022 13:48

@Indifferent59 @amatsip @Porcupineintherough couldn't agree more.. it's comforting to know others can see it too..

LiesDoNotBecomeUs · 12/09/2022 13:48

The interview she gave has had its effect.

No doubt joining the royal family was difficult and uncomfortable.
However, washing the dirty laundry in public gets attention but not respect or affection.

Learning that not all she claimed could be true has rather undermined the other things she said in that interview.

Learning that two fully adult persons were miffed about their father/father-in-law not financially supporting them any longer has also not gone down all that well.

There is a strong feeling that Megan and Harry hurt the Queen and added to her trials as she was ill and dying. People paying their respects to the Queen are probably not the most sympathetic audience for the two of them.

Damnautocorrect · 12/09/2022 13:48

Sadly you get twats in all races and religions

This.
Look how Camilla was vilified- For years!
Camilla kept her own counsel and now is accepted. People judge behaviour.
Andrew is roundly criticised, as was Fergie.
None were/ are unimpeachable.

Some of the press never stopped being awful about Princess Diana though. But she like Meghan did not have the backing of the palace pr.

Burpeea · 12/09/2022 13:50

@Georgeskitchen Would the crowd have greeted Prince Andrew well or not wanted to touch him due to the sexual allegations against him and the fact he paid off a girl he allegedly slept with when she was underage?
Would they have not wanted to touch Prince Charles because he was unfaithful to his wife even before they got married?
And would they have turned away from Prince Phillip because he was outwardly racist?
What crime of Meghan's was as bad as these please?
