In what capacity are Harry and Meghan visiting New York

They are no longer working members of the Royal Family so have they gone to New York as private citizens?

How do they get to meet with Chelsea Clinton at the WHO offices and UN officials and politicians?

According to the Mail (I know, I know) they had federal protection.

Do Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (as they are styled there) have much clout in the US? Why?

Obviously Catherine is viewed as somebody who has no feelings at all; nobody needs to care about her; it doesn't matter if she is upset...what is she, just a statue?

I could never do that to anyone. I could never go on television and say this person wronged me and they know it and they actually owned the fact and brought me flowers. And yes, you public, in case you are wondering what the issue was about, it was actually about dresses, yes. And my feelings are hurt.

I would never, ever do that to somebody in a million years. It's like trying to bring Catherine down. Talk about a difficult job they are all doing in the public eye, but clearly some people think, for some reason, that Catherine doesn't feel things. I wonder why anybody would think that she can't feel hurt.

Yes completely agree. She was very close to Harry before all this happened. Now they seem to be completely estranged. It’s very sad.

Katherine didn’t have her new born child likened to a chimpanzee ( I know she is not half black). The press didn’t call her straight out off Compton just because she is half black and Compton is predominantly black, so & according to the some dangerous & poor. Nobody said they had a niggling feeling she failed the Mum test & called her uppity, money grabbing or accused her of destroying their beloved monarchy. Nobody accused Kate of stealing William or said William was a hostage. These were just a few of the cruel and inhumane things Meghan was called & accused of here and elsewhere. Her mother was a felon Whilst Thomas is still seen as a victim even though he continues to hurt Meghan. British press have a lot to answer for, the cruelty towards Meghan is noticed by many in the Commonwealth & elsewhere.Since we are on MN, I would point out that some of the posters on this forum bullied & were racist & complicit towards this woman. I remember someone tagging me to view what was said about Meghan & Mumsnet posters on a racist forum and some of the posters on here today were on that disgusting Meghan thread. They were celebrated by racist posters for putting MN posters Meghan right. So meh!. Kate suffered from the press and elsewhere but that does not diminish the cruelty and racism Meghan was and is still subjected to. She is gone , why can’t people let her go?.People moan about titles, why should HaM stop using their titles just because people who will always loathe them say so. If and when the Queen say or strip them off their titles I think HaM will stop using them. Until then I suppose this is the one stick to continue beating them with. PA who associated with convicted peados has not being stripped of his titles so. Don’t blame Harry for not rejoicing his.

I really can't believe that you would correct a mistaken impression about yourself by dropping somebody else in it and making them look bad. I don't believe for one minute you would do that about any of your friends.

I am not a fan of this confessional stuff. I strongly disliked the way Princess Diana did it and I think Harry should acknowledge that airing grievances, a little of what Charles did too, does not help anybody: not the kids; not the public. These Royals and those who marry into it have been given immense privilege and opportunity and they should focus more on the poor citizens of the world, whose cause they are supposed to be helping, and not themselves.

Well all Kate & Kensington palace had to do when this story broke & the bullying of Meghan continued when she was pregnant and after she gave birth to Archie was say that this didn’t happen. Meghan did not make Kate the Queen consort cry, and the tabloids, tv personalities & the internet are wrong to continue to call Meghan names. That’s not hard is it?. But it did not happen and Meghan suffered as a result. Why blame somebody who suffered as a result of a false story for correcting it when she feels strong enough to. POC have feelings too you know, they are human. Meghan is human & yes her feelings matter.

Zuluqueen Kate’s origins were mocked as well. Her mother being an air hostess etc. She was made fun of as Waity Katie. Her breast were splashed all over the newspapers. She obviously didn’t suffer racism but she wasn’t given an easy ride.

Meghan bullied staff terribly. Seems like the mental health she preaches doesn’t apply to lowly staff or her husbands family. By refusing to say who the racist was she cast aspersions on them all.

Well Dan Wooten already wrote about this and was unhinged about Meghan. I doubt Kate wants to be known for putting on a revenge gown for a Bond premier just to get back at Meghan who is a continent away & not a British working royal. If I was Kate I would be insulted to be defended by people like Dan, Piers, Angela Levin & CT who have courted racist Anti M Twitter accounts .

Yeah, pretty much everything H&M do now seems contrived. They're trying desperately to save face, as they're "we don't need you" stance hasn't exactly paid off. Yes, they've landed some big contracts, but not much has been produced as of yet. Polls show they're not popular in the UK, and whilst they initially gained some sympathy in the US, I often hear US people saying they really don't care about them. (Insert Boston Tea Party references here)

They've decided to put themselves in competition with the British Monarchy and it's not really working for them. They've employed many "bots" to promote and defend them on SM (sounds crazy, right? But it's a VERY common way to manipulate opinion) and that's not working either.

They're so far from authentic, it's laughable.

The investigation into the bullying allegations is on going I believe. Even if allegations are dropped by individuals it is right it is all still investigated. The results are due to be released in 2022.

And that’s was is wrong. I have a lot of sympathy for Kate. I watched the royal wedding when she got married and was and I am happy for her. To me she didn’t deserve any of the cruelty the tabloids subjected to her. This is why I’m sad for her when she still gets compared favorably to Meghan who has moved back home. I believe Kate is her own person, and has & can accomplish anything without some people saying ‘ Meghan your heart out, Kate is regal & perfect & you are not. The British Royal are complete & are loved & respected by royalists. Meghan shouldn’t matter here, she is back home doing her own thing, she is is using her title yes, and being attacked for it. If I were her o would relinquish it, but then I I understand why they are not doing that. To me it’s insulting to Kate to continue comparing her to Meghan, she should be compared yo other European royal spouses not Meghan who some deem irrelevant.

Valentine Low, the Times journalist who wrote this story said Omid’s claim that the claims had been withdrawn was “misleading nonsense. The former staff members did not make the bullying allegation: Jason Knauf did”.

It's been dropped. Not sure why that is disputed. I've seen it on more than one place.
It's everywhere.

Im not doubting you Roussette., But I did google this but was it just Omid Scobie who said it in his new chapter of finding freedom. Or has the palace just quietly dropped it all and hope it will be forgotten about as they have more pressing things to worry about.

There's two pages on google saying it's been dropped. But we'll know in June 2022 when the next royal report thing comes up won't we?
