Why would it be damaging for some unknown courtier that no one cares about to reveal they were saying something racist?
It was a family member - I remember being quite shocked as it's something I do except from the courtiers.
There were several conversations. Harry refers to a (what sounds like a first conversation at the beginning), he say he will never reveal what was actually said - presumably because it was really bad.
The palace knows who it is and the person is not apologetic, obviously, and neither is the palace from how they rudely shut it down. That is another reason I do not think it's the wives. Even with seeing the crown around the corner, I cannot imagine Camilla being so arrogant towards Charles children. While I would have said Kate is too meek to make this statement, I am also confused by her bitchy demeaned at the abbey. Still I don't think she or Camilla are protected enough by the palace for this to be swept under.
It has to be someone senior or older in the family, who has always had zero respect for Harry.
I know the statement itself is racist af, and there is nothing casual about 'concern' about how dark the baby would be and the 'implications' of that. However, to me the person was mostly being a cunt towards H&M more than anything. Someone who is probably used to saying all sorts of disrespectful things to H. That is why even when called out they did not put in an apology or excuse. In these cases usually someone would apologise for the message that came out wrong or was taken the wrong way and say they will be mindful in future etc. but this person clearly answered in an arrogant way judging from the statement that came out.
