Abso-fucking-lutely. He is the WORST advert for therapy I've ever seen in my life. Who the fuck is he seeing? And what is their supervisor playing at??? Mind-boggling.

Completely agree with this! After years of therapy he seems even more angry and vengeful! He keeps wanting the last word and a chance to stick it to his family over and over again, like an angry teenager.

My personal theory on why he's doing this is because he and M will probably use this book as a tool to explain away the bullying allegations by staff. He'll no doubt paint a picture of all the courtiers and staff being horrible and unwelcoming and probably racist towards Meghan because H thinks the whole UK is racist anyway and anyone who doesn't love his wonderful Meghan is naturally racist.

Also, the formidable biographer Tom Bower currently writing a biography of MM. Apparently he's got a reputation for striking fear into the hearts of his subjects. What are the odds that this H memoir features an awful lot of MM's voice to counter anything Tom Bower might write.

Well the odds of them rocking up for the Queen's jubilee have hopefully gone way down! I hope he stays away from the UK indefinitely.

Ive said before on mn, my therapist encouraged me to write letters by discouraged me from sending the various letters because then you have to deal with the fall out which is another wound and a distraction from healing the original wound. Having ignored her the first time, I see exactly what she means and will not send any more letters. Or tell them how i feel. It's pointless.

But it all makes me wonder if he is really in therapy. He may have had some but he has not been in therapy as he broke away I do not think.

They say they are donating the 20m to charity, however in the US I thought that charities only need to give 5% to the charity - the rest can be for salaries etc. If they do donate this to Archewell then they will pocket 19m while making a song and dance about giving out 1m.

I noticed that the 'palace sources' don't seem to have known these news, because the DM and other rags are only putting it out now the publishing company has released a statement.

But it all makes me wonder if he is really in therapy.

Its hard not to wonder as his version of therapy and healing seems so at odds with the approach proper qualified therapists normally take. Instead of healing and moving forwards he seems to be hell bent on continually adding to his problems.

His choice and let's be honest, it will give a lot of people something to talk about on MN. I bet some of you are soooo excited to be able to spend days and months dissecting it when it comes out!

I wonder how it will compare to Sarah Ferguson's book 'My Story' talking about 'her frustrations, humiliations and occasional joys of her life as a Windsor'

Whilst I have a sneaky admiration for your 100% loyalty to Harry and Meghan , surely even you must acknowledge that the chances of a reconciliation with his U.K. family are going to be even more remote ?
And don’t say they don’t care about they RF because they do otherwise they wouldn’t be grimly hanging on to their titles and wanting the same for their DC .

If he wanted a life without hounding and constant press intrusion, then surely the first step is to stay out of the limelight? Doing a tell all interview, or writing a memoir full of controversial moments from your past, is handing those people who are hounding you more information on a plate.

I'm not saying he should stay silent, but he must know that his actions will lead to more criticism and intrusion into his life.

There is a wise saying, "Least said soonest mended".

I can't see them repairing their relationship with the family now. They both will be estranged from most of their families.

To be fair, Sarah was the ex- wife of a member of the Royal family . She wasn’t the grandson of The Queen .

Lots of people who only met H&M once or twice, some never have been writing books about them. I wonder where the outrage was then, and which charities did these authors donate to.

Now, I except those same 'expects' and maybe some who were hoping to cash in on a book about H&M to now get trotted out on the telly, giving us a review of a book they never even read.

It is a strange move for some who wants to be out the public eye. I am no fan of the Royal Family but it is all a bit tabloid and grimy.

For a couple that don't want their privacy being invaded and rail against tabloid media headlines, they sure are happy to dish it out against others. What about the privacy of the RF?

Exactly, and I think it might well be a fascinating insight into what it's like to be a Royal. I've never subscribed to the total opaqueness and mystique of the RF. We pay for them, we should know more in my humble opinion.

Do you have a family? Surely you would then recognise that family relationships can be messy and complicated.

Does donating the proceeds to charity equate to donating the advance to charity? Will the book have to make back its advance before it is considered in profit and has any proceeds to donate? I hope this is made clearer.

People dislike inherited privilege and they also dislike vacuous influencer culture. Harry and Meghan are the perfect conflagration of the two.

Their family gave quarrels and disagreements like any other. Most families have relatives you don't get in with or hwo don't share your views. His will be no different. I'm bloody glad one of my relatives isn't raking up every falling out or cross word in the mainstream media.
