Blurb from publisher.

In an intimate and heartfelt memoir from one of the most fascinating and influential global figures of our time, Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.

Covering his lifetime in the public eye from childhood to the present day, including his dedication to service, the military duty that twice took him to the frontlines of Afghanistan, and the joy he has found in being a husband and father, Prince Harry will offer an honest and captivating personal portrait, on that shows readers that behind everything they think they know lies an inspiring, courageous and uplifting human story.'

@MichelleScarn

Here's my bet on the front cover, pic of Hazza though not the Manics.

He really doesn’t want to reconcile with his family does he? I’m not going to lie, I’m tempted to read it but I need to find a way to get it for free because I’m not funding the Montecito mansion.

OverByYer · 19/07/2021 19:21

W pushing H how?

HavelockVetinari · 19/07/2021 19:21

Who's going to write it though? He's apparently not great academically, he'll either need a brilliant editor or (most likely) a ghost writer.

ChicChaos · 19/07/2021 19:22

Which charity is going to be the beneficiary of the profits, hope it's not Archewell (but there again, how else will they fund it themselves).

If Harry saw himself as anything other than an eternal victim a book might be a good idea - however, I really don't think this is going to help him. He is not fascinating or influential either, without the link to the Royal Family he's struggling to find his way and needs more guidance than he's prepared to accept getting.

@PicsInRed

It was always going to happen if W kept pushing H, it was obvious - I guess not to W. Buckle up, here we go... 🤷‍♀️
How is W pushing H?

One of the many articles mentioned working with a ghost writer
Oldbutstillgotit · 19/07/2021 19:24

Oh dear . This will not help relations with the RF .

MouseontheLouse · 19/07/2021 19:24

The Daily Mail will buy the serialisation rights.
Harry will be on 'Lorraine'
He'll do a book signing in Barnes & Noble but probably not Waterstones.

According to the sources he has been working on this for nearly a year so not sure how you can blame William for pushing Harry. Also not sure what evidence you have against William?

And I thought OW was to be the final word ?

Barwell76 · 19/07/2021 19:26

Am I the only one feeling a bit sorry for the poor sod ghostwriting this?

MouseontheLouse · 19/07/2021 19:29

Meghan will voice the Audible version.

Yes! Career suicide

Harrys wife of course. Or at least her take on it (recollections may vary…).
NotTheFunKindOfFeminist · 19/07/2021 19:34

He's too old to be doubling down.

MrsSHudson · 19/07/2021 19:38

I don't have strong feelings about H and M either way, but I can't help but wonder what is left to be said at this stage? Did Finding Freedom not address Harry's transition to non Royal life? And OW addressed his issues with his family. What is left to be unearthed?

KatherineParr · 19/07/2021 19:39

I thought this was a joke when I first saw it.

I actually don't think Harry wants to reconcile with his family.

SueSaid · 19/07/2021 19:40

'I'm writing this not as the Prince I was born as but the man I have become'

Grin

It's all just so cheesy isn't it. I cam imagine the Hollywood voice-overs and dramatic music promoting it. He has no class, dignity nor shame it seems.

Tealwarrior · 19/07/2021 19:40

Dear God, please don’t let it be Omar Scobie who’s doing the book. We’ve heard way too much from the child already.

GettingUntrapped · 19/07/2021 19:41

Sounds very interesting to me.

maddiemookins16mum · 19/07/2021 19:44

Memoirs!! He’s mid 30’s (or thereabouts).

SueSaid · 19/07/2021 19:44

@GettingUntrapped

Sounds very interesting to me.
Maybe Thomas Markle could so similar, 'I'm writing this not as the loved father I was but the cut off father I became. My truth'.

I mean yes I'm sure Hazza's stories will be 'interesting' but it does not change the fact that he will surely be breaching his (uk) family's privacy. Unless he doesn't mention them, which would be refreshing..
