Positive thread on Meghan again

Now that at the other knock off MN chat has been shut down, we seem to have an influx of those posters on here with new or encouraged accounts.

For those who are not interested in trawling through negative post after the other. You can come on here for positive news about Meghan and Harry.

Why not, everyone else seems to be viewed positively, without 'cynicism'. I don't mind taking this at snail pace, we just post on the good things about H&M, they sure seem to be doing a lot of that lately, and it's really buried under the negativity on MN.

Not surprisingly, if any member of my family were that indiscrete that often, I'd be upset too. He's not a wise man, he was never going to reconcile with MM by blabbing to the press.

I do hate the "she's an actress" thing. It forces me to point out that whilst suits is very entertaining and her performance isn't bad at all, she's not Oscar material (I know that's not a nice thing to say and I apologise). Point being I feel that I can tell the difference between when she's performing (not a criticism, public engagements are supposed to be a performance) and when her true feelings bubble up to the surface.

Shock How nasty is that. So because she is an actress, if ever she shows emotion, it's just acting.

Horrible. That really is an awful comment. Does this apply to all actors? Or just her?

What I don't understand is that if Meghan and Harry have carved out this wonderful life for themselves why are their supporters not happy with that. They will never have universal approval. Nobody does. I could start a thread about say George Clooney and some people would post negatively about him.

Not in the quantity of these threads. There's one current at the moment about Prince Andrew's name. It was started this morning. It has 4 posts.

Just because my views have been spoken before, but not on this actual thread, doesn't make them any less valid. So a valid opinion can only be said once and then it's no longer valid? Right ok. Just because others have argued against them doesn't make them any less valid. They are a point of view, a view which I think explains some of the reasons why they are disliked. A question some people have asked on here and I have answered. You keep calling them lies, they are not lies, they are what's happened and what I have observed. You calling them lies and that they aren't new again doesn't make them less valid. It's an opinion, it can't just be shouted down as a lie.

People only post when they are interested and they're interested in M&H. I'm sure if MN had existed in the days of Wallis Simpson and Edward VIII then people would have posted endlessly about that.

Moving on ... Does anyone think perhaps it was Harry that was the cause of Meghan s fall out with her dad and pressured her to go non contact ? He was the one with the big problem with paparazzi , Meghan didn’t seem to have a problem with them prior to meeting Harry. Disclaimer .. Just musing Not necessarily my opinion Would prefer Pepsi Sipper person not to respond as she or he is a bit scary
Yes, I think so too. I think it was the situation she found herself in. I really felt for her at that point. She was between a rock and a hard place. But he just would not stop talking. It's a shame as they seemed to be really close when she was younger.

I reckon Andrew has been well and truly muzzled by the palace. Not a peep out of him. Even some prospective shady banking deal was called off at the last minute.

Yes. Agree Vivienne they have to don't they, because it is an enormous can of worms.

I imagine PA is very grateful for the press on M&H, it diverts away from him. But it won't last. He has the protection of his Mother and the Palace but that will change in time.

Oh purleeease. Off guard my arse. It was all clearly orchestrated and rehearsed.

It seems like quite a personal question to ask someone unless it had been ok-ed by the interviewee. And making the point that no-one else had asked her how she was is the problem I have with this interview. She could have answered the question without that complaint.

I also read an article today listing the patronages he has lost since his link with Epstein, I think he had 51 and is now down to 4 and I expect these will disappear shortly too.

Andrew has told his truth and nobody believes him so why should one person’s truth be more reliable than another person’s truth? Both of them have been proven to have lied whilst telling their truth...

Have lurked in here for so long and just now starting to post.

I am a fan as watched suits before H&M

So often I have watched the attacks without basis especially for the ferocity I find I want to speak . Often asking myself what is it that she has done ( not thought to have done) that is so bad it elicits the vitriol aimed at her. To date I can’t see the justification for so much hate/dismissiveness and just downright rudeness toward someone most don’t know or will ever know

You are comparing a peron who carried on a friendship with sex offender/paedophile after he was convicted and then went on record with Maitlis saying he did not regret the friendship.... with someone who was asked a question and spoke from the heart about how she was feeling.

How on earth can you compare the two?

There is no Andrew's 'truth' to discuss. I've written facts.

Agree re the conversation about race .

Meghan’s position is so unique as the only ever poc who was a senior royal, her perspective on this must be heard as she is the only one to have walked in those particular shoes
