Do the royals watch programmes about themselves.
If a senior royal suspects she's pregnant, who does she ask to get a pregnancy test? (Not sure why I wonder this)
Do they have a GP or a royal doctor. How to they go about seeing them.
Do they have security at the school where Prince George and Princess Charlotte go?
How do they employ staff and ensure they don't divulge information outside of their job.

Most importantly does someone really keep the toilet seat warm for the queen?? Grin

I've always wondered if the queen ever sneaks a slice of cake or soem chocolate from the kitchen. Or when she was younger and had her period did she demand comfort food and hot water bottles?

How can they order takeaway Who would deliver to Prince w at kp?

JuniLoolaPalooza · 06/05/2021 19:14

They said in that Radio 1 interview they order takeaway and someone collects it for them.

beela · 06/05/2021 19:19

Do they have someone to clean out their fish tank? I hate cleaning out the fish tank, and every time I do it I think 'I bet Kate doesn't have to do this shit herself'.

Disclaimer - I don't even know if they have a fish tank.

ServedWithAReg15 · 06/05/2021 19:24

I’m pretty sure they have their own kitchens, they live in ‘apartments’ don’t they?

I wonder are they ever alone?

DoreenWinkings · 06/05/2021 19:26

I know Charles' security used to pick him up fish and chips from our local chipper.

I do not know what they order.

Anne rides her horse around here a fair bit. She always says hello and never has security.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 06/05/2021 19:27

What does the Queen keep in her handbag

Sidesaladofchips · 06/05/2021 19:30

I wonder if any of them are mumsnetters

Onwardsandupwardswego · 06/05/2021 19:33

I would love to know what Mike really thinks of them all

@00100001

I suspect there's no additional security at the school for George and Charlotte. Even normal schools are pretty secure. I can only imagine top fancy Ines are more secure as they may have foreign royals, kids of ambassadors, politicians etc.

I always wonder if they all just pop round each others for a natter and a cup of tea, like you would a normal family.

I wonder what the kids all get for their birthdays/Christmas etc. Seems like a real PITA? Considering they'd get sent so much stuff. I wonder if the kids appreciate their stuff?

I wonder if they're jealous of a us, because we can just nip to Tesco, or go out to the pub with our mates,or go swimming or whatever without worrying about photographers etc.

Not saying how, but there is additional security. Lots of it.

Also security considerations are why he doesn’t go to the site of the school closest to his home.

Yes do you think there's a WhatsApp group for the married in ones to talk about the crazy shit that the blood royals just breeze on past as if it's normal.
JustLyra · 06/05/2021 20:26

There is security at the school, and anywhere the children go.

I want to know if anyone ever curtseys or says “yes your majesty” sarcastically if their spouse gets a bit bossy.

I also wonder if any of the groups/nurseries that are picked for the children just hate it. I can imagine the pressure to stay on top of things and the barrage of other people wanting to sign their kids up as a result would be a bit of a nightmare.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 06/05/2021 20:36

As teenagers, would their protection officers tell their parents everything they got up to? Or do they only tell security concerns?

Do the very young ones see their protection officers as sort of aunt/uncle figures, or are they more aloof?

Do they have lockdown procedures... And think guns are normal? (My own DDs find armed guards etc as normal as they've been bought up on military bases and two of their schools have had armed guards)

Susie477 · 06/05/2021 20:42

@YellowPenPinkPen

I often wonder if they own a very non-descript car or people carrier with blacked-out windows so that they can get to places incognito.
Philip used to own a black cab, in which he used to drive himself around London incognito.

Me too! Now there’s a bloke who would be very interesting to go out for a few pints with.
StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 06/05/2021 20:52

Do they do hostage training like journalists do?
Does HM ever win arguments like Elizabeth I in Blackadder by saying who is queen? With a pointed look.
Did hm queen Mum REALLY do an ally g impression after christmas dinner?
How much was HM involved in the opening ceremony of London Olympics? Who had the idea to have her pair up with James Bond and parachute in?
Do you get bored of hearing god save the queen?
Please would one of you do a MN AMA thread?

StealthPolarBear · 06/05/2021 20:52

"I want to know if anyone ever curtseys or says “yes your majesty” sarcastically if their spouse gets a bit bossy."
Yes this!!
Or if they ever get a bit tiddly and start taking about well when YOU'RE king....

StealthPolarBear · 06/05/2021 20:53

Pmsl at "who is Queen?"

bullyingadvice2017 · 06/05/2021 21:05

When they are on the way somewhere does William do a prep talk about behaving and not pulling any cracking comments out. I have to do this with my ds and he still manages to come out with some clanger.
