Do the royals watch programmes about themselves.
If a senior royal suspects she's pregnant, who does she ask to get a pregnancy test? (Not sure why I wonder this)
Do they have a GP or a royal doctor. How to they go about seeing them.
Do they have security at the school where Prince George and Princess Charlotte go?
How do they employ staff and ensure they don't divulge information outside of their job.

Most importantly does someone really keep the toilet seat warm for the queen?? Grin

The costumes for world book day, was Kate not spotted in Sainsbury's with the kids buying them?

I imagine it's normally something the nannies do with them but go Kate wanting to do that herself.

But yes I imagine healthy eating would be easier with a personal chef. Most of the RF have an outdoor lifestyle, with horses, dogs that also keeps you fit.

It's said HMQ likes to do most of her own dogs care, walking and feeding them.
I can't decide whats more funny picturing her with a tin opener and pedigree chum or some footman delivering the freshly prepared bowls of dog food on a silver tray ready for her to put down to the corgies.Grin

William and Kate had a housekeeper in Anglesey. The papers shared the advert.

I always imagine Kate is a bit like “come on children let’s craft and paint” children make enormous mess. Then Kate says “come on children let’s go outside and play” they all leave. When they come back the mess is gone and lunch is on the table.

I hate cleaning up the craft crap and making lunch. Oh to have staff...

I've had this thought too. My DC1 is the same age as Louis and I remember frequently thinking "I bet Kate isn't doing this" as I paced the floors with a screaming baby or cleaned up a poonami. Imagine just being able to pick the nice bits of parenting, always being able to hand them off for half an hour if you're running out of patience. Do the breastfeed but hand off to the night nanny for the settling. And even if you are doing some of the drudgery, it's because you've made an active choice to do it, so that must make it easier too.

She definitely made a comment about not having staff and just being her and George when William was working nights.

Maybe she meant no nanny or 24hr staff.

I'm guessing they have housekeepers/cleaners just like us 'normals' do - they come in once a day/week and clean the toilets, make the beds, hoover etc and I guess the nanny does what anormal nanny does, make the kids dinner etc whilst W&K are working.

But I'm guessing at a weekend or whatever they make the dinner and stuff.

I have always wondered (slightly obsessively), if Kate had to have fertility testing before marrying William.

Never thought about that....

I've got a feeling they may have a 4th child

@GeidiPrimes

How they feel about the public favouring a republic and retiring them. Attitudes towards monarchy have changed a lot in 50 years.

How formal are they with one another when alone at home.

I would think that this possibility is something that is ingrained in them - after all, they were related to most of the European Royals, and not many of them are left.

I think there is still a majority who support them, but it could always change.

I wonder if they can just order items of Amazon and open them privately, or if every purchase for everything has to go through staff.

I also wonder (linked) if they have access to bank/credit cards so can make purchases themselves when they want to.

I can remember a class project back when I was in Y2 (so 40+ years ago!)

Inspired by a royal visit to our town, we all had to write a letter to HMQ asking her something we wanted to know. I'd got a special stationery set for the previous Christmas; it was pastel papers with real dried flowers embedded inside. I asked HMQ what she liked to eat for breakfast.

I got a lovely letter in reply, franked from Buckingham Palace. The paper was thick cream and had an embossed crown at the top. I can't remember who signed it, but I can remember it said something like 'a selection of cereals, plus toast and preserves. Additional cooked items are provided upon request'. The letter also commented on the 'lovely' notepaper I'd used.

I kept the letter in a special memory box. Sadly it was one of the things my violent ex-h destroyed.

Some of you should definitely send your questions in to Buckingham Palace to see if you get an answer!Smile

They just looked at her. The woman oozes virility.

Queen's handbag contents

I'd like to know if she chooses her duvet cover herself or if it's just chosen for her, and if she's in fresh sheets and duvet cover every day like staying in a hotel?

I wonder do they talk about anything in front of the servants or do they wait for them to disappear before they have more personal/interesting conversations.

Do they have lockdown procedures... And think guns are normal? (My own DDs find armed guards etc as normal as they've been bought up on military bases and two of their schools have had armed guards)

Before Di married Charles she was taught to shoot to kill an assailant so I assume the others are too.

I think probably not, esp in the days of IVF. The RF has realised that its more important for the marriage to be right than to marry for the wrong reasons.

There were rumours that Diana did have checks before marrying Charles but being honest she was married for one reason.

@FrangipaniDeLaSqueegeeMop she compared herself to the little mermaid? 😂

I remember reading that the Queen carries money in her handbag. I don’t why. It’s not like she’s ever going to pop out to Tesco by herself for a snickers bar.

Sorry to lower the tone and be perverted but I wonder who goes out and buys “adult toys” for them.

Lockdown it's probably made up bollox but I've seen suggestions re another royal couple having IVF. Not that unusual in older women having children though.

@Scarby9

Do they joke with one another about their rank and the line of succession?

Definitely not if Andrew is around. He’s rather touchy and aggressive. I doubt he’d see the funny side on being reminded he’s not even the “Spare” anymore. He’s much lesser than that.

@Saltandshake82 Kate was asked if she was going to have a 4th baby when she was visiting a nursery. She said something like, “ I don’t think William would be keen.” That means Kate wants one. That’s also one of the most personal things she’s ever revealed. Do you think the Palace gave her a lecture about that?

Sorry I was implying that Kate had IVF.

I just meant the risk of her not producing an heir was lower than the previous generation with the advent of IVF. They wouldn't have the financial limitations that other couples with problems face.

Hence the concern would be less, so I doubt her fertility would be been checked. I mean what can they check anyway? AMH it's really only relevant for the drugs used for IVF, tubes clear, not an issue IVF can get round it.
