It's not just Harry though. Biden and Harris are fully part of this.

It’s more nuanced than giving away vaccines.
The storage and distribution infrastructure needs to be available particularly for the mRNA vaccines.
I think this needs to be organised by the grown ups not some silly concert

Let’s see if Biden / Harris come up with anything useful
Maybe a not for profit vaccine that can be easily distributed ..

To be fair, I've always thought he sounded like Gordon Ramsay or vice versa. If he does some good then fine.

OP - I saw a clip of this on BBC news. I wondered if anyone on Mumsnet had started a nasty thread and when I looked Yes YOU had ! Well done!

He seems far more comfortable in whatever he is doing now... I guess some on here are just disappointed with that. Why don't you ignore anything he does and if it really gets at you this much.

It is an issue that is a relevant discussion
Harry needs to be mindful he doesn’t stray into a political issue that affects U.K. policy - be it vaccine or otherwise -
It could create a diplomatic problem as he has chosen to keep his British titles - this carries responsibilities
It would be much easier if he just stepped back entirely and relinquished his place in the succession and titles - he would then be free to follow his own agenda without constraint- he is walking a fine line.

I don’t see how this is a bad thing. He’s using his influence for a positive cause. Doesn’t hurt anyone. He’s not being self righteous at us.
America has always focused on private philanthropy rather than state funding so I imagine the aim of this at least in part is to encourage wealthy individuals over there to contribute. I don’t honestly see what the UK’s contribution has to do with it.

You don't have to watch them. Some of us like listening to them sometimes. All other royals are trading on their titles too, correction using their titles to claim public funds. Others use their titles to have sex with under age girls.

I agree @Lockupyourbiscuits. I have some (admittedly ever decreasing) sympathy for how they feel but they lose all credibility for me hanging on tight to the titles & I feel still trying to get the Prince/Princess titles for their kids.
