Oh yes, how very un-normal of them.

Hardly anyone plays with their kids, or takes them for walks, or the beach, no kids play on see saws.... So out of touch 🙄

You're hardly going to have promo videos of them roaming council estates, doing the ALDI shops, or down the slots at Skegness are you?

Felt like I was watching a modern day Marie Antoinette; huge spaces for the future monarchy to play, fire pits and beaches to appeal to the Masses. Look at us, playing with our kids and dressed just like the Upper Middle Class you want to be! They leave me cold.

Who declared this a reality TV type competition?

@RickiTarr - Pretty natural in my world playing in the garden and going for walks. Even the beach would be if we lived close enough. Perhaps I'm too middle class!

It was very sweet but it did look like an M&S ad.

It reads like one big PR exercise to me. “Look at us, we’re so happy! And definitely no infidelity to look at here. No sirree!”

I don’t think getting into promotional lifestyle-type video advertising for the royal family was needed TBH.

I mean it’s fine and everything if they want to and whevs, but now they’ve done it once, it’ll become a “thing”, and at some point those DC aren’t going to be so amenable to frolicking around for all the filtered-lens, Dutch-angle, knitwear-advert nonsense and then what?

OTOH, it’ll be funny if all the other European monarchies signup and decide this is what they should all be doing too. Could become an entertaining arms race of low sun & adorable children in scenic locations.
