I think Harry has a lot to answer for in this whole debacle. He's a 35 year old man brought up as a Royal who should know how the whole thing works and how to ensure his wife is fully educated in the rules and regs. of being a Royal. She was his wife, why on earth was she going to HR at the Palace for help with mental health problems? Harry has loads of experience and the knowledge of where to get help, what on earth was he doing? Harry knows full well that there is a rule about not being given a royal title when it comes to Archie. Why didn't he explain this to Megan? It has absolutely nothing to do with Archie's skin colour. Why is Harry moaning about having their security removed given his father paid £4m for their security after the tax payer stopped paying after they moved to California?
It is not the Royal family's decision whither or not someone has The Metropolitan Police fly over to do security duties.
Prince William sorted the press out when they were making disparaging comments about Kate, why didn't he put his foot down as his brother did?

The trouble is Harry has never equates work with money. He doesn’t really understand how most people live. You work hard all day, you get paid. You can then pay bills and eat. This is a foreign concept to him. In his world Mummy and Daddy bankroll you and you live in luxury whilst playing at being a philanthropist. The shock and disgust on Oprah’s face whilst he was whining about being a Prince said it all.

It is a shame that this person has sullied the threads. Just as unpleasant racist people sometimes sneak on, in the same manner there is sometimes an appearance by a twisted individual throwing out nasty accusations and - on a post which was deleted - using foul language towards others. To what end I don't know.

There's plenty of evidence that the royals are racist. One of William's former army officers came forward recently to say that William was one of the most racist people he'd ever worked with and constantly made racist remarks!

The RF stood by and watched Meghan being racially abused by the press and didn't lift a finger to defend her, while they were happy to charge in all guns blazing at the slightest negative comment about Kate's hair. That in itself is racist. She was clearly, undeniably treated differently and resented due to being black.

There's not a single doubt in my mind that she experienced direct racism from the RF, not just individual members but on a systemic level.

But this is Mumsnet, where all black women are automatically aggressive over-sensitive liars, and where racism doesn't exist (except for the terrible scourge that is anti-white racism) and accusing someone of racism is the worst sin in the world. I swear MN is almost indistinguishable from Stormfront some days.

I imagine the evidence for this won't be forthcoming? And random Twitter accounts aren't proof of anything.

I'm no big fan of the RF by any stretch of the imagination but the amount of things particular posters, the same few posters usually, come out with on here with nothing to actually back up the claims, is ridiculous.

Why won't you say HARRY should say who it was - the direct conversation was with HARRY and he confirmed this.. I am so fed up with MNs excusing Harry like he is still a little boy- He is a grown man - whether he behaves like one is a different matter. He relayed the conversation to Meghan, he was the one who had the discussion with the royal racist - he said he will never say who it was. Why absolve him of that - it really is pathetic!!

@Itreallyistimetochangethings I did not know that. If that's so I don't see why he would've relayed something so upsetting to his wife. He doesn't seem the type to enjoy upsetting people (or so I thought until the recent events and what he's done to his family.)

Maybe it was like I've heard, that people with mixed families often wonder what the child is going to look like, just as any one does.

He mentioned that line to Meghan and she was like, 'Zomg, Harry, look at them victimizing me with their racism! This whole country's full of fascists! We'll have to leave.'

I suppose none of us can really speculate now as we just don't know the details.

But if people were saying this level of slander about Meghan that she's saying about the royals, the court papers would've been served weeks ago.

Because it his wife and child and he thinks it is better to share this - or you don't believe he told her?? Was with Harry and so she said he should answer Oprah's question - he came on and when asked said the conversation was with him but he was not prepared to say who said it!!! Next brick for Meghan- so you mean only Meghan should name the racist royal. Your post reminds me of a racist I knew in my childhood always making excuses for her children's abusive behaviour towards other BAME children in the neighbourhood and never acknowledging that her children could be at fault! imo there is a lot of difference to a family where there is more than one non white person having a chat about colour. to a family where the only non white person has just joined the family.

I agree. I would maybe try not to tell my DH if this was my scenario, because I wouldn't want to hurt him, but I know in the end I would. Why start off a marriage keeping secrets from each other.

The pale has the same route as pallisade.
Harry and Meghan may feel they are living beyond the pale, far from the British Royal Family, but skin colour is not part of it.

I apologise - you did not make the 'racist' comment - another poster whose user name started with Ros did - so that's my mistake.

I have disappeared because I'm working and will get back to that shortly.
However note to all please be mindful of accusing the RF of being racist....without any tangible evidence. It could land you in hot water.

Just seen your response. Oh gosh, I made a mistake by taking eckers word for it. I read the comment about William when it was first posted but had to go out briefly and came back to the thread. Then read eckers post. I see you responded to eckers but as you gave no context, I missed it.

I get it’s shit to be piled on, which was obviously not my intention and why I didn’t use an accusatory tone. But it’s even worse when you’re accused of something you didn’t do. Apologies for taking another person’s word for something, which I consider to be quite serious and making you feel judged.

And to be clear I am not part of a smear to try to get this thread pulled so I hope that is not the insinuation about what I said.
