I only watched about 25 mins and then switched off. Am sure MM felt exactly as she described. But what I did feel was odd (apart from the whole Archie should have had a title so he had protection when none of the Wessex or York kids have government protection - it was withdrawn a while back) was her comment on the Kate situation. She said “Kate was upset. Kate made me cry. Yes it was about bridesmaid dresses.” Then a story came out 7 months later about how MM had made KM cry which was apparently false.

As soon as she relayed the story it made me think - but why was Kate upset? Had you (perhaps inadvertently) upset her? Maybe the story was true - you had made her cry. Obviously what was missing was the fact MM had been made to cry by Kate. But I don’t think the story that was being peddled was necessarily incorrect.

Did anyone else think the same?

There was no mention of maybe Kate cried easily as she was hormonal when the blame was on MM. Just, she was a mean witch that's all.

More than one member of her own family, ex friends, ex colleagues. There is a wake of people with nothing nice to say trailing behind her. One common denominator...Meghan! The majority of these people say the same thing, they were just dropped as soon as she didn't need them. I mean even the most ardent Meghan defender has got to admit its extremely strange behaviour to have ONE member of family and absolutely NO childhood friends at your wedding! But plenty of famous people you barely know! I mean who meets someone once and then invites them to their wedding? Unless of course that person may come in very handy in the future ( Oprah)!

There is literally so many inconsistencies in her stories its untrue, if you are going to twist the truth/lie in front of billions at least make your story watertight! Palace took away her passport and she felt trapped, didn't stop her flying to New York on a private jet for a celebrity baby shower though did they. They also didn't stop her flying to the usa to watch her friend play tennis! Her husband has suffered mental health problems and had treatment, so instead of asking him to organise some treatment she goes to the palace HR department!!! Do people seriously believe that tripe? It's been widely reported for literally years that Charles wants to slim down the monarchy ( in fact this was a cause of tension between him and Prince Andrew) yet she sits there and insinuates that her son is not being made a prince and given royal protection officers because of his colour! It's actually laughable!

Also her childhood best friend, you know the one who was pictured outside Buckingham palace ( but she didn't know anything about the royals)

Is it just me or is really someone saying something that made you cry ONCE (at a stressful time) just clutching at straws to say something negative.

It kind of reminds me of when Madonna married her token English man Guy Ritchie & overnight transformed into an English home counties type in the Hunter wellies & Barbour jackets, shooting trips then suddenly decided wtf this life isn't what I signed up for & fucked off back to L.A.....

On both the dates that they gave her the passport to leave, someone tipped the paps of her whereabouts.

So now, she was also expected to go to her own shrink. A 'palace source' tells DM who in turn find a way to bribe someone to give them her psyche report and it's blasted all over the news. Good thing she stuck to protocol, would have been even worser for her mh.

Do staff not normally look after passports and private documents etc then. As they would be the ones booking flights or in charge of making sure everything is in order. I don't find the idea that a royal secretary or security would keep passports at all surprising or shocking.

Yup that makes zero sense. HR would be the last person I would go to make arrangements for medical treatment. Who does that?! Oh right. No one. Including Megan. Another lie.

So I rewinded that segment about Kate a couple of times, to make sure I heard exactly what Meghan said.
Some observations, but I’m not quoting word for word here.

1. She almost redirected her wording to say when everyone was being “supportive” to her, Kate wasn’t getting on board, it was as though she was about to say something else... thoughts? Maybe i am mistaken.
2. Meghan and her comms team told the press it didn’t it happen. The press printed exactly that, by her instruction.
3. Kensington place released a rare statement which stated it did not happen, which aligns with what Meghan had to say in the interview about the messaging from her comms team. (Is that correct about KPs statement?).

So in my opinion the Kate situation is a storm in a teacup, but the media have latched into it as though it’s significant. It’s not if you really listen to what Meghan actually says.

I thought that. DH works abroad a lot and it isn't unusual for his work travel office to have his passport and driving licence when they are organising visas etc.

I hate how keen people are to create a hero and villain out of this. It's like the press haven't moved on from pitching Diana against Fergie in the 90s.

Kate had just had a baby Meghan was dealing with a wedding and the stuff with her dad. It's perfectly plausible that they had words and each went away feeling like the other had made them cry.

I agree with pp the real question is why was one version leaked to the press and not the other? And who leaked it. That is far more important than the details of a pre-wedding disagreement over a pair of tights.

You hand over your passport to the office a usually a few days before, for them to take to the consulate for the visas. You are then given your passports same day and travel with them. No organisation holds on to your passport, never ever heard of such a thing.

@Mummy195 yes she managed to keep that from "snitches" so surely she could have done exactly the same with her mental health ( well she actually did because we only heard about it from her) and gone privately and had therapy. When she she states that she was told no help what she's actually referring to ( if you watch it back) is checking into an inpatient facility like the priory. Now whoever told her it would look bad was right, because in this country the vast majority of people associate rehab with drink and drug problems and the press should they have found out would have had an absolute field day!! There was absolutely nothing stopping her from finding a private therapist or doctor and having therapy for her issues! She is making an issue out of something that should have been a non issue and easily remedied.
