Robert Lacey is a well respected Royal author so I would accept his version of events over OS and CD.

I read an interview with him where he says he usually sends most of the book to the people he has written about to give them a heads up and also the chance to come back if anything is inaccurate and needs negotiating to be corrected. Apparently on this occasion, his manuscript was returned to him unopened by the Palace. No idea if it was also sent to Harry though.

Well, if the first extract in the Mail is anything to go by it's going to be a very interesting read. Absolutely fascinating!
