I expect she needs a new roof on her country pile.

Roussette · 23/06/2020 18:40

Newly married couple then. They are in their 30s, to me that's pretty young ish!

HarryDaylight · 23/06/2020 18:47

Meghan Markle is 39 in a couple of months, and Harry is nearly 36. That's not young. They are not a young couple. They are approaching middle age.

HarryDaylight · 23/06/2020 18:48

And they are not newly married.

Samcro · 23/06/2020 19:03

They are young to me, but then im old.lol

Roussette · 23/06/2020 19:04

You are splitting hairs.
Very tiresome.

TO ME 2 years is newly married.

They are approaching middle age? Grin Grin
I'm sure that will go down well with lots of people in their 30s!

Middle age starts when you're in your 30s does it?!

I must tell my DD that, she'll love it!

HarryDaylight · 23/06/2020 19:06

Please go ahead, and tell your daughter.

OverUnderSidewaysDown · 23/06/2020 19:11

Why is it different?

Roussette · 23/06/2020 19:11

Thank you for the permission to tell her Harry I was waiting for that before I did. Grin

Personally, given the longevity of life now, I would've said 50 but obviously I am totally wrong, just so's I'm clear, when is it?

OverUnderSidewaysDown · 23/06/2020 19:12

They are NOT a young couple by any stretch of the imagination.

Roussette · 23/06/2020 19:13

That's why I said young-ish.

HarryDaylight · 23/06/2020 19:14

I'm not biting, Roussette. Grin

Samcro · 23/06/2020 19:15

i get the feeling some people are bored and have jumped on this thread to pick a fight.
I understand, i had a chat with a cute robin earlier.
Older people will think they are young. Who cares.

Roussette · 23/06/2020 19:17

I'm not biting, Roussette

Don't blame you Grin

ButteryPuffin · 23/06/2020 19:20

You're the one splitting hairs now, Rousette. Being thirty something isn't being young. I didn't make that claim when I was in that bracket!

Are William and Kate also young, then? Strange how they aren't referred to that way nearly so often.

(Noting down that 'you're splitting hairs, it's tiresome' and 'some people think this, who cares' are acceptable ways to disagree over views of the Sussexes.. .)

candilemon · 23/06/2020 19:21

AbacabMR

In addition, they’re hardly a young couple when they’re both pushing forty.

They are in the brink of middle age. They really should behave in a more adult manner.

candilemon · 23/06/2020 19:22

40 = the onset of middle age.

candilemon · 23/06/2020 19:26

So daughters reach middle age too. Wow.

Harry and Meghan, more news!
candilemon · 23/06/2020 19:27

bluebell34567 · 23/06/2020 19:27

i liked Kate showing her babies after birth. she looked so nice and seemed to be happy to share her joy with everyone. it looked so sincere. her nice smile, not being afraid of showing her postpartum body. i found her very brave and strong, too.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 23/06/2020 19:29

So, did Harry come back to the U.K. then?

Eh?? I hadn't heard he was said to have come back; when was this?

Samcro · 23/06/2020 19:29

Roussette And i are being slagged of on another forum, strange that. And suddenly people start picking a fight here.

candilemon · 23/06/2020 19:29

Those pictures of Kate were adorable. She is such a crowd pleaser, in the nicest and most natural way. A trooper.
