H&M drip feeding announcements about announcements they might make is just daft. Who cares. If they have something to say that is actually helping people now and it’s a pandemic-related cause, then just say it without all the drama.

Cryptic new announcement on the Sussex royal Instagram jsut now. Sounds almost like a flounce?! I wasn’t sure what it was all about but the gist is that they’re (again) off to “find their place”, etc etc

I read the IG post a different way. I think it means that it will be turned off tomorrow and they will have to launch a new IG account. Therefore, they are saying thanks you and goodbye to their DoS followers. Notice that it says “Harry and Meghan”..

I don't know who they are thanking. Themselves I think. There hasn't been much support and inspiration from the community, it's been a deluge of negative comments which they keep trying to delete.

I wonder if they really can just launch a new site? Just like that, on Weds? I'm starting to suspect they'll put their heads down for a bit.

As long as we aren’t paying! I’d like to see the RF take full responsibility for these two. Bet it will all be reviewed in a year - hopefully they be told to pay for themselves by then. This can’t go on until they feel they have enough money to pay for themselves. If 34 million isn’t enough to be independent then nothing will be. Their expenditure will just increase as they insist on their lifestyle.

None of the RF have independent wealth, as none of them have earned a wage or salary. It’s all inherited wealth or comes from the public purse.

That £4m/year, one way or another, is coming from us mugs.

The Duchy's finances are already notoriously opaque, so there's every chance it'll be made to appear as a payment from Charles, but actually be squirrelled away on the taxpayers' tab

The private contribution of £4 million per year sounds dodgy. I'm much too cynical now, and would like to know if this money will be infiltrated through the complicated tax systems of the royals and ultimately end up being paid by the public via their taxes.

I never used to question things like this, but because H&M's shameless greed and contempt for the people who pay for their ludicrous lifestyle I am deeply suspicious.
